Yeah if your ac is high enough (like if you have a shield) the cambions don't matter. It's only Raphael who can hit you with those dex save spells. It's nutty for a multiclassed monk. Because your ac can be ridiculous, you have good dex saves, and you have evasion.
Man, this game can be played in so many ways. For example, I was having trouble with Balthazar so I polymorphed him into a sheep and then threw him. Another example is this man right here
In our HM run we did it with a full party but raffy was dead in 3 rounds and we wiped out the adds quickly after that, we thought he was going to be horrendous but he couldn't do much with gale counter spelling, me buffing the party to high hell and the hasted, enlarged GWM barbarian in his face xD It's really fun to see different builds showcased and optimised to solo bosses.
@@zalzeera we did a few weeks ago, thanks! Biggest obstacle we faced was Ansur, every other fight was trivial at best and that was us not even trying to play super optimised, just preparation alone. Seen a few of your videos and they're well fun to watch, actually think I saw you do Ansur a bit ago, idk how you managed that solo xD
@@upsetti6404 Ansur's fight made me love half orcs even more. I didn't know that was possible. I love my brute force bonk boy. Yeah Ansur is deceptive because his legendary action is not as well written as the others and he catches you by surprise especially if you have cull the weak on.
@@zalzeera I was also playing a half orc in our first run (11 life cleric/1 wizard). I clutched that fight on 3 separate occasions and the final clutch was getting the barbarian up, then casting Death Ward on him but I didnt have enough movement left to get back behind my cover when Ansur went off (1hp 100temp gather storm explosion) and we thought it was over, Wyll and Gale were dead and both our portraits went red for a second before Death Ward and RE kicked in and we screamed like wains. Never had so much stress and fun in a single fight in our dnd careers was truly the moment of all time xD
Better yet if your tav is elf you can give your blood to aljira(?) in act 2 and she will make an elixir basically you will be immune to charm until long rest, it’s an elixir that doesn’t replace the other elixir you have. (Edit: I’m stupid her name is Araj not Aljira…)

How did you get a 60 hp on the health potions every time?
Periapt of wound closure maxes out your heals. It's a staple on my solo builds. I cant do slug fests without that.
