How have your raids been lately?

absolutely brutal. I'm 3 quests from Kappa and I'm struggling to find the motivation. One of the best wipes ever for sure but something about this mid/late wipe just feels icky
I've been averaging a 5-10min raid the last few weeks, lots of of head,eyes.😊
Getting one tapped by either scavs or followers a lot. They’re so aggressive right now! I was so pissed yesterday I absolutely destroyed a 3 man PMC squad and then got one tapped by a follower before I could even start to loot the bodies

700hr player here, but recently married with both step kid and newborn, and I tried getting back into Tarkov a couple weeks ago. I just can't. I can make reubles hand over fist running scavs, but every single PMC raid I just can't get into the headspace needed to survive. I'm always rushing, sprinting way more than I used to, just trying to get in and get out as quick as possible cause I've got maybe 20 minutes before the baby, wife, or 5yo needs my attention.
Finally dropped it last week, Lv9 account with 3 scav jboxes and full hideout upgrades that I could do before LL2 traders. At least I could confirm my suspicion that I need to just stick to single player offline games for the next couple years.

For sure, no idea trying to game when you are in the middle of it all. But agree with you wife to have 1 night every week or something when you can game. The other days you are the family dad and not distracted by a game or frustrated you cant play.
SP-Tarkov with some AI mods would be perfect for you. But remember, don't install SPT AKI in the same repository the live game is/
Part of what I love about tarkov is the tension that player interactions bring and the ability to abuse the flea market fluctuations, such as MP5SD's getting put up for standard MP5 prices and whatnot. I've thought about offline tarkov, but it's just missing too much that I'd get some seriously uncanny valley.
@@zombiesue1054 Welp, flea prices in SP-Tarkov might be more capped in their ranges, but there are mods that can parse actual flea prices and put them in your game.

Silent walking would be fine as long as there are "sound traps" l ike broken glass, wires metal cans, wood, that make sound when you walk over them even with silent speed. You could go around silent, but would have to carefully watch your steps.

It is most interesting this mid wipe because the cheaters have really come to the forefront. The abuse of the system is insane. I have one guy who has 1089 raids, 36:41 average raid time, and 650 hours on his account total. He literally is in raid for every second and MORE than he has on the account. Makes zero sense. I think they have found a way to send fake info to the stats server to pump themselves up. It is nutty!

So in my razer software. I can set my left mouse button to register as 20 clicks per second. Or set another button on the side of my mouse as lmb and set the modifier. So my left mouse button works as normal, but the other button shoots semi auto like a full auto.
So you need macros to be good at the game?

They will never be able to fix the problem. Cheaters will always exist in tarkov, there is no way to avoid it
You already know the deal. They won’t ever fix it. Cheater ban waves result in people buying more copies of the game. We have just reached a corporate stalemate where BSG has leniency for cheaters as long as they avoid killing players and just goblin the whole map.
Literally every pc game is infested with cheaters. Tarkov just hurts the worst because of the time investment and in game values, etc..
Yea you can survive when your still questing at a low level up to level 30’s running decent/cheap effective gear. But man get to level 42 run the meta stuff for cheap from max traders and its GG’s you will very rarely die to someone that has more than 800-1000 hours that is lvl 47 1k games already, knows every angle on every maps including the ones you dont have many quests on yet they somehow level 48 already at 800-1k hours shit is ridiculous

Every Euro says that, and every North American says that NA is harder. It's all anecdotal, there are good and bad players on both, but to say that an entire continent is objectively better at video games without hard statistical proof seems really blind and ignorant.
