My kids and I saw him here in Edinburgh a few weeks ago, near the end of this tour. It was amazing! I thought it was better than when I saw him in California around 2009.
For your sake Sam, and other Dylan loyalists, I hope you get to see him perform again. Realistically, it's hard to blame him for walking off into the sunset at 83. As they say, "legends never die...they just fade away". His resume speaks for itself.
I think that he will play again even if it's not a full tour. Maybe it will be something like the Black & White night which Roy Orbison had which would go along with the cover for Shadow Kingdom.
In my years of following Dylan, I can answer your question quite simply: Bob Dylan. He won't announce a retirement from touring. He'll just stop. And everything will be shrouded in mystery. Bob's gonna Bob....And we are going to ask questions.
I think Bob will tour again. It's all he knows. Unless he has a major health issue, he will be out there. My question is "Will he go back in the studio & record an album of new material?" I hope so! Great video Sam. 😁👍
Sam If the question was should Bob Dylan tour? Yes is my answer. He doesn't seem to like staying still for too long. Besides his inability to play much guitar anymore he seems to be in pretty good health, even for people 20 years younger than him. Maybe all those 60's amphetamines & darts are catching up with him. Whatever happens it will definitely be on his terms, like always. Cheers...Ben

As fans, we always want more, even after all the years of great tunes. Thanks for watching Rich!

He may do residencies, like he does at the Beacon. Thanks Randy!

I thought you might love this one Christian. I hope he goes out again, my guess is we won't hear from him until the early spring.
Hey Christian - Good point. I'd love to hear some new music from Bob!

Thanks for your thoughts Ben, I definitely don't see him sitting on his laurels for too long, even at 83 he can still prove something. Thanks again!
