Rhubarb Cake, Pie, Jam, it can be made into a sauce, it is also great for tea or tinctures. You can place the leaf back down onto the soil to keep pest away because they are toxic to them but not your plants. Enjoy!
Thanks for the ideas! We have done a cake before and my goodness it’s delicious. Also I have never heard about the leafs being a pest repellent, going to have to try it!
Always nice to find a fellow northern gardener/homesteader. I've always had struggles with Bell Peppers in Minnesota. This year I'm removing flowers and trying to get big plants before I let them fruit. We'll see if that improves things.
I think we may give that a try on some of our peppers too! We seemed to be able to grow them but they are always pretty small. I could see this helping, thanks for the tip!
Tips for northern peppers use cottonseed meal for fertilizer. Grow through landscape fabric for small varieties top the plants to cause them to bush out. Pick flowers off till mid june. Good luck John S.

Excellent advice. Grow what you will eat. 👍🏻
That’s the goal! It only took us 3 years to learn that lesson 😂
Very good, keep it going, get that food security because we are living in crazy times.
