I live in Northern CA where we have our own share of wild fires. My city burnt down in 2017 and is still working at rebuilding. Then there was the Paradise fire. Placer county has fires near every year. Redding fires. Napa and Lake county fires. We have our own demands for water and resources here. A portion of our water already goes down south. The talk of taking more of our water is unacceptable. Stop building high density housing in a drought areas. Don’t put our area at risk because you overdeveloped yours!
I think the part of the water equation that you have missed is the fact that 85% of the freshwater coming to California runs out to the ocean. Huge rivers that never stop flowing pouring fresh shrinkable water into the ocean.
The idea is to stop pouring all of the water into the ocean in an area that is over, built, subject to drought and constantly having water shortages. It is the California government that has created this problem. I live in Northern CA where we have our own share of wild fires. My city burnt down in 2017 and is still working at rebuilding. Then there was the Paradise fire. Placer county has fires near every year. Redding fires. Napa and Lake county fires. We have our own demands for water and resources here. A portion of our water already goes down south. The talk of taking more of our water is unacceptable. Stop building high density housing in a drought areas. Don’t put our area at risk because you overdeveloped yours!
They could just use ocean water desalt and water the hills and forest with it but they to busy sending money to homelessness
I think the part of the water equation that you have missed is the fact that 85% of the freshwater coming to California runs out to the ocean. Huge rivers that never stop flowing pouring fresh shrinkable water into the ocean.
The idea is to stop pouring all of the water into the ocean in an area that is over, built, subject to drought and constantly having water shortages. It is the California government that has created this problem. Many people have tried to fix it unfortunately, the peoples Republic of California is ran by Democrats And they seem to be making a whole lot of money off of rationing out water at incredibly high prices. Just to have water connected to my house is $125 a month. If the government didn’t allow the water to flow out into the ocean, then our water bills wouldn’t be $200 a month they’d be back down to $25 a month and how would the politicians get their kickbacks?
