How do you find such interesting cases?? What I love about this channel is how I've yet to hear any other true crime channel cover these cases. It makes this one unique in the sea of many channels.
Thank you. I hunt archival newspapers for interesting stories and then do searches to see if the ones I choose have little to no coverage. Then I research as much on the people and circumstances as possible. I appreciate your kind words.
Discovered your channel by accident a month ago and I've been hooked ever since. There aren't that many channels that cover old true crime cases on here and i just love how you narrate these stories. I genuinely hope your channel continues to grow. Keep it up! ❤
Great writers and great storytellers have the ability to help us imagine- by their gifts, a visual accounting of history. I do not generally enjoy podcasts but I see well by your telling, research and genuine love of the subject- the sepia toned picture unfold, almost as if I visited history.. Thank you for your brilliant efforts, you are a true storyteller with the sweetest midwestern tone, soothing and at the same time- unflinching.
Great job. I’m a fairly new subscriber and do look forward to your stories. Being a genealogist myself, I love history and looking up the cases as well as see if my family is related haha. Its interesting when we are 😉
Thank you Mindy, I always look forward to a new episode on your excellent channel. You're a natural storyteller and, as an English person, I'm fascinated by your accent and could listen for hours.
This was truly a horrific case of a young married couple who were murdered by a despicable person. May Louis and Josephine Bonacker rest in eternal peace. 🌹🌹 Great investigation, presentation, illustrations and photos, too. Take care 🦋
I love your videos. Q: What kind of a criminal stops at 5 places, essentially allowing everyone in town to get a good look at them, looking for a room but kills the owners of the only place that will have him? 2) What kind of thief leaves the loot behind under a tree? Maybe the evidence (?)was planted?
You are a wonderful story teller. It's truly shocking what "humans" will do to each other. So sad that they were treated no better in death. If there is a God, they will reap what they have sown.
Interesting about the people who confessed but didn’t do it. I’ve heard of this happening in other cases. I don’t think we know enough about the brain to figure out why this happens.
I wish I had photos so you could do the tragic double murder and suicide of my great Aunt Nancy in the 1890s in Saylorville, Iowa. People haven’t changed much. All we have is a newspaper article and a grave.

*📚📖Libraries are amazing places.🌈🌟📖📚*
I grew up in Arnold. I'm surprised I never heard about this. Great channel. I'm moving back soon so I'll be going to your library. 😄
I live in Boone County, MO, and had never heard this story, either. So tragic.

How sad they never found out who did this to them. And worse yet, they couldn't even rest in peace. I always enjoy your videos! ☺

I love your channel, you always have cases I’ve never heard of before!
As soon as you started telling this story I thought, that sounds like it in Missouri and sure enough it is.
New subscriber, So glad that I have found your channel, Greetings from 🏴❤️🙏🏼🍀🕊️
What a shame. Not sure an animal took away the poor girl's skull. Thank you.
Wonderful stuff 😊

Interesting thought.
Another great story.
If possible, I'd like to hear more new England stories.
But I enjoy all of them.

It’s refreshing to hear a woman narrate historical crime stories.
Do these come out every month or are they on a schedule? Can't wait for the next one❤
Yes. The first of each month.
@@mindylou322thank you. I've been watching the same ones over and over so I thought I would ask.😁
I love listening to your fantastic podcast! Big fan!❤
Yay, thank you!
Loved this so interesting thank you ❤

Tell me a little more and maybe I can find something about it. You can email me at melindamaloo@gmail.com
Touching story
I would love it if you could do the story of Frankie Silver
Send an email to melindamaloo @gmail.com and tell me more about it. I’ll look into it.
*📚📖 Librarians are amazing people.🌈🌟📖📚*
I loved the story Its a shame they never found out who did that
Yes I agree thank
You said fhe killer cut his leg, is that true? And who desecrates a grave
I have often wondered how they knew about the cut. And wondered whether any of the suspects had injuries. But, unfortunately we’ll never know.
If only they could test DNA back then!
