Funny how this game is backwards in that it's absolutely amazing right at the start of the wipe. The combat is phenomenal and everyone just looking to get better gear. However the game for many gets less enjoyable as time goes on when everyone is rocking top level gear.
Once you reach a certain level and can get all the gear you want with no real consequence then it just gets a bit boring. Honestly the introduction of the flea market was a bad idea for game longevity (i understand why they did it and why it's there) but going from 0 - 15 is the best combat and best play because everyone is on pretty much equal footing gear wise. Once the majority reaches the flea then it pretty much eliminates the drive to get stuff, barter and survive.
It would be more fun if getting better gear just made TTK go up. If the bullets did not scale with armor. There should only be above 60 pen on .338 rounds. And basically nothing else above 35. The game would feel better
Its definitely annoying running into top tier armored guys running 6 man teams. The game needs improved match making or something to let you play against people who aren't Chads
@@corail53 I disagree, I’m tired of leveling up my character from the beginning every 6 months it’s getting old. I’d rather most people be chads and just make all armor worse and certain bullet types less OP so we can actually have usable recoil and weapon customization

Everyone are running with meta guns, silencers and LVPOs and you either get into ambush because you didnt hear anything through the entire raid or you get sniped across the map. BSG should really limit the amount of high tier gear available to players. Most of this should be only available through looting in raid.
They wont. Devs realized long ago that the game doesnt have to be fun or enjoyable to play. The more unfair a game is the more likley you are to think about it when you arent playing it. Its literally free advertising.
It would be cool if as a scav your mission is to find insurred pmc loot to return. ..an that's how people get their gear back. Like u can keep some things but if ya doo ya scav rating goes down

I'll never understand how a day after the wipe people know "the edge" of ai range, or can tell what filing cabinet was opened 50 meters away 20 mins ago.... There's zero room for casual play in this game.
anyone have a solution for the stuttering? i even ran this map on the lowest settings and it still stutters. very strange (Edit): turning on MIP streaming seemed to work for me!
the panning of discrete audio in tarkov is jacked, completely the if they are left of centre of the screen they are on your left hard panned is just so unrealistic sounding
Almost everyone is enjoying the game a ton more during early wipe. Why are they not implementing a battle royal like mode, where there‘s no hideout/no progression outside of raids (other than cosmetics) and everyone loads in with lvl 1 gear. Very few people really enjoy late stage game and even less people make it there.
because people want to progress. the reason the game is fun in the early game because people want to make money and progress towards the end. the fun comes from the need to progress and the crazy battles that happen.
I’m trying really hard to like this game. The concept is great. The game play isn’t. I hate that ads is toggle. And it frankly isn’t fun having to search for an exfil spot all game, and then getting sniped by some dude I can’t even see and didn’t even hear. Just feels kinda boring roaming around basically aimlessly just to get killed and lose everything.
This game definitely isn't for everyone. Hold to ADS is an option you can enable. Being able to use a map and navigate where you are based on landmarks is a life skill that you can use to find where you are on a map and find the exfil. Don't drag your sorrow on other RUclipsrs videos though, join a discord and find someone to teach you the game

I would love to see a major change to Tarkov where there is a monthly wipe, same day every month, kind of like official Rust servers but then change the grind to make leveling everything way faster. To make that repeated grind worthwhile, put some cool new cosmetics, certain hideout upgrades, trader levels, etc behind a gated system where you have to progress to a certain level each wipe to have access to the next cool thing available in the following wipe. Something to make it worthwhile to play through a whole wipe and actually grind a bit but radically reduce the stagnation that happens in Tarkov as the chads and rats get further towards the extremes of their end of the spectrum throughout a typical Tarkov wipe cycle. That way BSG can tune the economy and balance things more often without having to wait for a major patch to do it. And new players wouldn't get ROFLstomped if they happen to pick up the game in the last quarter of a wipe under the current system. I feel like something along these lines would reinvigorate the game, make it more approachable for newbs and weekend warriors but still give the chads and heavy grinders incentive to keep playing and stay active.
I hope they adjusted traders so that they dont sell the good shit and you hae to find it I want more fights where people run around with shitty guns and level 3 armor

Comment section is just people who cant hit lvl20 and mod their guns properly. The reason most people think early wipe is fun is influx of new/returning players that play a week or two and quit never quite understanding what they are doing. Basically extra AI for you to shoot at, but since that is what you can win against it feels like fun. Early wipe is a chore, atleast this time around it has some content and actually could be enjoyed.

You are going to get 1 tapped throughout the entirety of the wipe and there is nothing you can do to prevent that. The only thing im arguing is that early wipe is not fun and its just a copium dose. Right so you are telling me, that using garbage gear is fun because you are allowed to make many mistakes and play however you like because your enemy has similar gear and thus lower chances to capitalise on those mistakes, and having good gear that punishes you for those mistakes instantly is my skill issue ? My first streets raid, I spawned in the middle of a road, took a few steps and got killed by sniper scav. Didn’t even get a minute into raid
