Thanks for the video! Keep it up!
Thanks!
You might check some of those jackets with the “faux” pockets. Pretty common in the suit world, there is a minimal contrast thread stitched in to hold the pocket closed for shipping and on the rack to minimize stretch/sagging. It’s up to the end user to remove that single thread to open the pocket. That way you can choose if you want to use the pocket or not. Leave the thread for the flattest/clean look.
Good point!
Twillory looks by the far best. Glad I just bought one
Hey, how did your Twillory suit purchase work out? I agree, it looks nicer and the price is fair!
Also curious how you like it
I have the performance blazer/pant and a sportcoat and they are fantastic. Washed it a few times and still looks great. Comfortable and well tailored. I just ordered another in different color. The fabric is soft to the touch and stretchy and shrugs off wrinkles during travel. I also love their performance fabric dress shirts. No, I don't work for them.
Theory has a similar suit product made with their “precision ponte” which is super comfortable and doesn’t wrinkle at all. I own a few of theirs and I love them
I'll check it out. Thanks!
The interesting thing to me is the pants. None of the pants seem to fit like normal pants. They all bunch up in the knees like they have a bunch of static from the polyester. I wonder if this is just a fit on him thing, or a general thing. I would've loved to see a normal suit on him in comparison to all of these.
They all fit pretty normally. I understand what you’re saying - it’s mostly because they are all too long unhemmed. The XSuit is the only one that was even slightly off.
agree the pants all look terrible, Jackets are nice looking though
I purchased two SuitSupply "Traveler" suits a few years ago. They were about $600 each and the quality and look were excellent. Now looking to replace them with something a bit more comfort especially for modern pain in the a** business travel. Twillory looked the best fitting of the reviewed items.......curious is anyone can speak up on Twillory quality, wear, etc.
suit supply i owned and wore once, was disintegrated the fabric is not strong enough to just exist when stored away
Twillory has been fantastic over the past year or so. High quality stuff.
Would you recommend the ministry of supply compared to the xsuit 4.0? I want something I can wear for professional conferences so need something comfortable but also I can carry easily.
Yes, I would recommend the Ministry of Supply Suit. It's more expensive, but a higher-quality suit overall.
Check out Theory, they offer the same kind of stretchy suits, but the quality and design is 10x better than all these brands.
how tall are you? some of the jackets seem a little long
I'm 5'9" - but I have shorter legs and a longer torso. Most everything in this video has not been tailored.
Buck Mason best of the lot at 300$.
Every suit looks frumpy on you or is it just your body? 🤔😅
As I mentioned in the video, none of those suits were properly tailored before trying them on.
The 1st 2 are weird looking, doesnt fit your shape at all
A review without actually having experienced the fit in the wild? Also this dude is lost. Doesn’t even know if he had them tailored or not.
