He probably DID want to be there, but we haven’t scene those scenes yet.
Wait for him to be interviewed again and he will say that he genuinely loves Mario and was happy to be involved.
@@benmalsky9834 Gonna hold you to that. We can only hope that he has better delivery throughout the movie
The “less a go” sounded good
this sounds like mario just got out of an insane asylum, idk about better
I would give ANYTHING to see a whole dub of the movie done by you
You did an excellent job here sir. Here's your reward. Your invincible candy. 🍭🍬
Mario sounds to hysterical in this
I like that it’s just constant screaming XD
It fits too well 😂
shit like this gives me faith that somebody out there will probably redub mario for the whole movie when it comes out haha
I cannot tell you how much I lost it at the first 7 seconds especially when it came to the “Yes!” Followed by pure echoed fear 😂
When bro said “Let’s-a-go” I felt a slap of nostalgia showing how good it is
Look, I get people want an exaggerated Italian accent, but if the movie had this Mario for 2 hours I would NOT be able to take it seriously. Also, this sounds like someone trying to do a mediocre Mario impression, no offense to you though.
Chris Pratt was probably the worst Mario they could have picked. Honestly they should cast YOU as Mario.
How the hell can you scream so good it's incredible!
I personally like Pratt's voice, it ain't the worst
it at least better than how this would sound with ryan renolds
@@Mircowavemuncher Yeah I don't see Ryan Reynolds as Mario. But could he play a Nintendo character that isn't Detective Pikachu?
@@Mircowavemuncher Well, that I don't have an opinion on because I haven't heard Ryan renolds try. . .Ofc, Pratt could've done a bit better but i'm overall ok with what we got and am glad I won't be hearing a high pitched voice for an hour straight, while I like it, it really mainly works for short sounds like "wahoos" and "Let's-a-go"'s a full movie of it would probably get obnoxious and I think the voice will grow on more people as more trailers and eventually the movie is released
@@Mircowavemuncher Actually? Ryan Reynolds’s could totally do Mario.
Yeah, I mean, it's not as bad as people are making it out to be imo
Can’t wait for the fan dubs of this movie
The Screams are PERFECT!
The Voice is nice, I feel like you genuinely could've did well as Mario profesionally
This trailer fills so alive and better then ever
I dunno, Chris Pratt is not a good Mario but I don't think I could watch a full movie with a high pitch Italian man screaming for an hour
Lol
YES THE “LETSA GO” SOUNDED HORRID WHEN PRATT DID IT! YOU DID IT PERFECTLY❤️❤️❤️❤️
It literally sounds bad here lol. Its so low pitched like pratt. It seems like you are just joining the hate train for internet like points
@@Pam234 Yeah, it could be modified, but Christ Pratt just sounded like Christ Pratt.
@@Pam234seems like you have bad taste lmao.
@@Pam234 no I just don’t like the voicing. It’s called having an opinion.
@@AutisticBearLover okay? this was a month ago why comment now
Tara strong had an excellent point against hiring celebrity actors over (celebrity/non-celebrity) *voice actors* for these sort of roles. As in, to not
Luigi's scream at the end killed me 🤣
No matter how much i try i can't seem to shake my odd love for Chris's adaptation but this is still really good!
Thing is, accurate as this is, I don't think I could bear a whole dialogue-heavy movie of it.
The reason why Mario's original voice wasn't considered annoying is because it was used _sparingly._
And when it wasn't it was his "New York Italian plumber from Brooklyn" accent rather than wahoo man
@@Hambo325 Yeah, I think they should've gone with that instead.
Exactly finally someone who gets it
@@DianaDoesDozens What they should've done is give him more of a gruff, deeper voice with just a hint of a New York accent imo.
@@MrWhatdafuBOOM but that is what they did. His voice does sound noticeably more like a Brooklyn accent than an Italian one
literally nothing gets better than seeing mario make out with a cheep cheep
Facts
Gonna be honest, I don't like it. You sound like you're trying to do _game_ Mario, _movie_ Mario is a different creature entirely
As an Italian, this does bring a smile to my face :) 👍
Chris Pratt irritates me more than he should in this role. Well done for fixing it up!
This didn’t fix it, Mario is supposed to have a Brooklyn accent
@@Rabbidgai no he isn't, have you literally ever played a single game in which Mario speaks?
@@uncroppedsoop we’re not talking about the games, they want the super show accent
@@Rabbidgai which was said where?
@@uncroppedsoop it’s obvious, go watch the super show
Christ the PASSION in that “Wahoo!”
damn he even did luigi but then again i think luigi's voice is fine rn
so good! half of the comedy of the movie could have been how vocally expressive mario was, but its too late now ig
It's voice acting in a trailer, so I wouldn't say it's too late.
Hot take: This is worse than Chris Pratts acting tbh.
ikr
For how much they focused on Mario screaming in the trailer, Chris Pratt's voice did not convey the appropriate level of emotion for Mario being propelled by a bullet bill. Thank you for filling the hole in my heart caused by Chris Pratt.
You’re being overly dramatic. Bros Pratt is a perfectly fine actor and so far, I like his Mario voice.
@@benmalsky9834 I'm mostly okay with his voice as well. That being said, you can't tell me the screams in this video aren't more emotive than Pratt's. That's my biggest gripe with his voice from what we've seen so far.
@@mmgmagic fair point
The fact that this is better is honestly sad...
Dang, you weren't kidding.
The screaming is especially on point, it's amazing!
I don't like Chris as a person, but he absolutely does a good job from what we've seen y'all are just haters
Apart from the screams, I could go either way.
Dude, not only is your Mario voice way better than Pratt's, but the song in the background sounds way more fitting for a Mario movie than the generic cinematic orchestral remix of Mario's theme in the trailer. What's it called?
you ever find it? im dying to listen to it without sound effects.
@@koltonpboyd I just found the song. It's called "Alone with your beats." You can find it on the same channel that made this video, it's on a video called "MusicBoy's beats album 3."
