Offset madness!
Madness, I tell you! Madness!
I love a few of these but a Jazzmaster without Jazzmaster pickups just doesn’t feel the same
Alexis Santos pretty much the only fender guitar that HAS to have the original pickups in it, IMO
I agree BUT i’ll give the Jmaics a pass (it has p90’s)
“Offset ukulele” is the most hipster thing I have ever heard, but seriously thought that would be dope
I love this! The one with the filtertrons would be awesome for the variety of styles that I play. I really appreciate the upgrades to the standard mexican series too.
The low E string out of the saddle at 00:33 :( Guess they forgot the bridge mod.
where are the Mustangs??
Raul Zanardo they have offset series 2016 Mustangs & Duo-Sonic
Ooh! Just when I was looking into the market of fender offsets :)
I'm surprised RobtheMeatManifesto hasn't commented on this video, he'd love this (great channel btw)
Anthony Sclafani that guy is cool
Max Feeney he is. Very friendly guy
the CEO of fender and Jim Root were sharing a blunt and thought
"why don't we make a Squier Jim Root Signature Jazzmaster?"
they proceeded to make this fucking monstrosity and forgot to put jimmy's name on it.
Weeaboo Trashski his has a fender string thru hardtail bridge and this one is a gibson style stoptail. Totally different feel
ummm ACKCHUALLEE IT HAS A NASHVILLE STYLE BRIDGE AND A TONEPROS STOPTAIL IT TOTALY CHANGES THE FEEL BRO
its pretty gross, worse than the new player jazzmaster
i cant find any vids from the ibanez booth can y'all go there.
Fender nailed it here in my opinion. Price will matter of course.
how hard is it to make these lefty???????
Nope just buy a new set of strings and flip your guitar over ;)
u know that guy, hendrix
stitch2k1 I'm not that good lol
Not good enough to string it up side down?
The shape of them though? its kind of impossible
That first Jazzmaster with the three pickups is sexy! $2K? Is it made in USA or Mexico?
No Lefties :(
Favorites?
Can we just get a left handed jazz master? is that actually too much to ask?
lachlan pilgrim yes
lachlan pilgrim yes!!!!!
I have been emailing and requesting a USA jazzmaster for years. I have no idea why Fever doesn't give a crap about giving lefties a quality option, meanwhile they'll make Squier righties in every color. Sure they'll put USA strats and teles (in 3 or 4 colors) in stores, but offer a rainbow of options for righties. Oh well, they don't want or need our cash, unless it's to buy a black strat. Pfffft
They did I think. Saw it on FB
NapsterRulez where?
Trying to find guitars with just a single bridge pick-up -I don't need a neck pick-up. Tele Esquires a little scarce these days...
An offset ukulele with a floating tremolo and maybe a P90 in the bridge would be great!!!
パッシブのジャガーベースがレギュラー販売されるのいいな。個人的にはジャガーベースはPJベースで一番納得できるデザイン。
And as always, none of them will be left handed :(
that blonde jazzmaster is GORGEOUS
Yes! Those jags are totally like the config of Kim Gordon's jag
Tadeusz Mich I thought the same thing :-) I’m real excited to get one of these jags
Yay....more rosewood....grrreeeeeaaaaat...
I LOVE Jim!!!! 💜 By the way.......................................... offset madness!!!!!!!!
Upgrading pickups is not the same as replacing everything with humbuckers
Ewwwww
The previous standard jazzmaster also had humbuckers. By upgrade I think he meant 'better' humbuckers.
The jazzmasters had humbuckers in the previous Mexican standard line you fucking mongoloid
Cyclone & Toronado would be cool...
Love how their idea of a forward thinking JM still doesn't include a better bridge by the looks of it.
Can’t wait till dat jaguar is mine :-))))
humbuckers in a jazzie 😢
One day I hope for fender to throw a tele bridge on a jazzmaster while keeping the JM trem and controls.
Pau ferro instead of rosewood :(
I prefer humbuckers and I just so happen to like the look of offset guitars, suck it up fender purists....
To be honest, what first attracted me to Jazzmasters was their appearance. They were beautiful, almost like an abstract silhouette of a woman. It was sexy to me.
I tried out a vintage JM in a guitar shop and thought it felt amazing in my hands. I loved the bridge configuration. So I saved up and bought a Mexican Classic Player. I love the guitar but I must say, it's not well made. It's noisy, the bridge sucks, and the pickups are wayyy too hot.
I've modded the hell out of my guitar and now I never want a new one. It's just a shame I had to drop hundreds more to make my guitar good.
Buyer beware
Really now? I was looking at getting a Classic Player. I hear so many mixed things that it's hard to decide - it'd be nice to have a 'classic' Jazzmaster in the sense of having actual JM pickups, but at a lower price point than the actual Classic Player if it's not worth the $825 price tag.
Again, I love my Jazzmasters and don't plan on buying a new guitar any time soon (I've owned mine for 6.5 years now). However, you definite need to invest in mods for the instrument. Especially the bridge. I dropped $200 on a Mastery bridge and it was well worth it, but now I've basically payed over $1000 for the CP. Not to mention the paint chips very easily and the first year of having it, a strap screw got stripped and I had to get it repaired with a wood plug. I guess that's the risk of getting a Mexican made guitar :/
I saw Thurston from SY using a CP JazzY in this video:
ruclips.net/video/tV-9f1LOxgg/видео.html
And no new squier bass vi? Lame
this is cool and all, but....
WHERE'S THE TORONADO REISSUE?????????
Fuck I'm too broke to afford one :/
who will buy thoose ??? ... they better improve in tuning them and make them sound cool out of the box ; then people would t have to they luther for change pickups
Larry Lynch if u get a luthier to change your pickups that’s your own damn fault for being lazy and not taking the 15 minutes it takes to learn how to solder properly.
Love offsets, but too many “frankenmasters” here
Graphite metallic looks just like aged charcoal frost metallic, wonder why they wouldn't call it that...
Madness is right. The Jazzmaster is a niche guitar; who does Fender think they are going to sell all these variations to?
54macdog dude everybody and their mom plays in an indie rock band the question is who ARENT they gonna sell these to. Jazzmaster isn’t so niche anymore my friend.
Calling those Jazzmaster humbuckers an “upgrade” is an abomination.
Why? You haven't even heard those humbuckers. Why would changing from ceramic to alnico magnets and calling that an upgrade automatically be an abomination?
Ewout Mueller cos it loses what makes a Jazzmaster a Jazzmaster. The sound. Fender seem incapable of making an affordable vintage correct one unless it's a Squier or over £1000
Ang jazz with no p90's......ewwwww, I'm not a jazzmaster fan but c'mon fender don't ruin the offsets for me, you guys went over madness on this one
flops. these sideway switches yuk. whos in charge jesus
How much y’all wanna bet none of these have fat necks
fender really struggles to reinvent , just seems gimmicky
That jaguar bass is dissapointing
