I met the owner Andrew yesterday the day after RSD . I called late Saturday looking for one particular album which they actually had. Possibly the last copy in the Tampa Bay Area . Although they couldn’t pull the album for me they said to call back Sunday at 11am and they would gladly hold it for me. To wrap it up the album was still there I was really impressed with the store and spent about a hour browsing. I love this store and the staff is really friendly. I highly recommend going there.
So, you hand out numbers to those waiting? Then allow them to peacefully browse all civilized and such??? I’m genuinely curious because I utterly loathe the experience at the store I’ve been to the past several years
All of the record stores should hand out numbers like this instead of making people sit and stand in line waiting. Then they could sit in their cars until they open the store at whatever hour they open.
I don't like random number pulls. You could be 1st in line, waiting for hours, and get chumped by someone who arrived 5 hours after you. I'd lose either way...I'm too old and tired to get up at 3 a.m., and have absolutely no luck to have my number pulled early.
The numbers are given out first come first serve and are not random drawn. We've done this system for years and it works out great for our customers who arrive early
@@kingfishrecords6798 Excellent. That's fair. The video made it seem 64-66 were the first numbers called, but that must have been after you had been open a while.
I am frequent customer and it’s only store I go to for Record Store Day

They actually have the records outside IN THE SUN? At $30+ a pop? Yikes!! This isn’t a garage sale.
All vinyl sold outside is used and priced at 3 for $10
