I always check out these breakdowns when I'm finished reading. They've helped me tremendously and have given validation many times as what he says is what the lord often says while I'm reading. And there have been many times I have questioned something and Pastor "just happens" to touch on what was unclear to me

This sermon explains a lot about what all of us Christians have to go through and cope with well while being accountable to the Lord. These days admitting that we are Christian anywhere outside of our own church building without ever offering them any advice about how to live can 'provoke' a non-believer or a person with only a semblance of holiness into acting arrogant towards us during our paid or during our volunteer work too often leaving us wondering what just happened?

John the book is close to my heart.
Funny, we were listening to Daune Clarks song heading to Big Sur, on a down hill my truck freewheels without cruise control. The family song is playing and I'm singing to my bride as he speaks of the lady who wears my ring with tears in my eyes. Hit 83 miles per hour. Of course CHP pulls us over as he came up I smiled and Yup I got caught. I asked if I could do something for him. Officer, sure. Give me your hand so I can pray for you and he did my bride puts her hand on his arm. The reason I say this is to say when I have sinned I want our God to inform me I'm off track.
O, he said I've never had a stop like this. God changes hearts. Mine ❣️

Because God foreknew those who would love Him (He foreknew because as you, Pastor Paul, have rightly taught that God is outside of time) He predestined us for adoption into His family. That, of course, doesn't mean that He "wishes" or "wills" any to perish. But He did, because He is God, know beforehand, who would choose to accept His call on their lives and put their faith in and follow His Son, Jesus the Christ. Thank you, and God bless.

Talking of time. They have found the 24 hr day is getting shorter by a smidgen of 1.38 of a second (or so, cant remember exactly) and has done this for a while now. I find that all interesting. God is at work, Hes on the move. We know what He’ll do but not exactly how, amazing times. God bless CCO ❤️

Most churches in UK don'k think it important to study or know his return, and mock 'we do not need to know' 2 peter 3:12 NIV is clear in saying ...
As you look forward to the day of God and speed it's coming,...🙏

2 Peter 3:12 "hastening" = verb. Greek word "speudo" = urge on, desire earnestly. From Greek "pous" = "speed" = TO AWAIT EAGERLY.
I understand this to mean that we can be petitioning The Throne of God, respectfully, to please hurry and send Jesus for His bride, The Church. We are excited to be out of this world and with YOU, our God!
The next few verses tell us why. Because we are tired of the sin all around us. The sin that is becoming more brazen (marked by shameless or disrespectful boldness). Also, we are seeing, hearing about, and/or experiencing personally, ROMANS 8:22 "For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." Less rain in more places, bodies of water drying up, more earthquakes, more and more powerful hurricanes, more tornadoes, more fires - like what just happened in Lanahai, Maui, more animals beaching themselves, etc. and so on. These are effects of sin that entered the world. We desire righteousness in every way. Only true righteousness all around us can be experienced with our Lord.
Matthew 19: 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, IN THE NEW WORLD (emphasis added), when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfoldc and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

With scoffers don't go on "defense" just start asking them to explain their stances and watch for the chance to ask why they hate God. A truly broken heart seeking healing will then search out the truth. They know it, they have been avoiding dealing with it.

The only one without blemish is Jesus I believe that's what he means by without blemish for all have sinner and come short of the glory of God he told Mary as long as we're in the world we will be tempted without blemish is being perfect only the father is perfect sorry that's what I get no big deal ❤❤❤❤❤

Unless the Holy Spirit is present to convict sinners of their sins, there can be no true repentance and salvation.
Quickly slipping up your hand, surrounded by bowed heads and closed eyes, to make an intellectual decision, does not make one a Christian.

So, at what point is the earth and heaven destroyed? Does this happen after Jesus comes back or before or at the same time he comes back? Where are God's people when it happens?

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier

It appears from Scripture that the new heaven and the new earth are created after the 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom.

Free will is a precious gift from God and it will never be taken away. However, we will no longer sin because when we receive our new resurrection bodies will be set free from our nature of sin.
