I have had a long question that I cant test myself, but what if you take a pizza and freeze-dry it and blend it into a powder and use it as a spice?
Probably wanna blend it before freeze-drying.

Why? It'll cost 10x the amount of just buying the commercial stuff, and frankly, since they use water, not oil, it'll dry out and harden UNLIKE the commercial stuff.
Or you could walk to any store and just get the materials and make it, ya know
I really love when you guys have cool DIY stuff that I can do with my kids. Dont get me wrong I love all your "let's see what happens when" videos but the DIY ones are my favorite
so that first recipe that clumped together but didn't have the same stickiness, could you use THAT to cast molten metal in? corn starch will burn in aerated powder form, but wouldn't this work just as well, and burn a lot less than the store bought kinetic sand?

A simple way I figured out to make it is with blu tack (the stuff to stick posters to the wall) keep adding sand until it has the consistency of kinetic sand it works surprisingly well 👍🏻

My wife works in preschool and makes this stuff all the time. She uses baking flour and baby oil and a bit of dish soap! I'd love to see you guys try it out.

Call I if you’re happy with kinetic sand. Try doing experiments with Mad Matter. It’s amazing maybe try making it too.

It was in these little circle containers with a moon on it I’m pretty sure. I was very young but I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Best way I can describe Kinetic Sand is that it feels like your playing with Brown Sugar without getting all sticky.

What happens if you try to melt kinetic sand or glitter?
Glitter would mean plastic
It would just cook it
They already did it. The adhesive and coloring burned away, leaving regular sand.

Normal non biodegradable Glitter is plastic, fumes from melting plastic can be toxic and dangerous, please don't melt anything without researching it thoroughly, and do not melt plastic.

I know right in the intro fantastic it's like a VHS retro vintage intro it is amazing it's a cool beautiful intro I've seen this intro in a couple other videos and I'm just saying to myself not talking out loud just in my head that wow these intros that these people make are just magnificent. 1 tsp of water
5 drops of dish soap
1 tsp of corn starch
2 tsp of white Elmer's glue
Mix.
1/4 tsp of liquid starch
Mix it all together and knead in your sand.

If your kinetic sand is a bit dry or crumbly, and a little bit of water, I recommend adding drop by drop because it can get "sticky" really fast.

Most "acids" as you encounter them are powders dissolved in water to form aqueous solution... freeze drying the acid solution would just result in something similar to the powder, or a sheet that can be ground into powder
Here:
An acids density is measured on how much water is in it(oxygen)
If you remove all the water by freeze dry/dehydration the it would become super intense
So intense that if you pour it on you palm,it will make a hole in your hand and it will drip to your floor

Now mix everything up to together, homemade & shop bought into a massive amount. You could then try lots of other experiments with it. Burn, freeze it, cast in it and anything else you can think of. PLEEEEAASSE!!!! 🤗❤️

The Sand + Cornstarch + Dish soap mixture is actually called Moon-Sand, I made it at a Solar Eclipse event.
You should try and see what happens if you mix kinetic sand with hair spray and gallium

The store bought kinetic sand is actually made with silicone oil. Same as silly putty. Difference is that silly putty is almost all oil with nano scale crystals and some boric acid while kinetic sand is 98% sand and 2% oil. I do like the fact that you have managed to make an biodegradable organic analog to it.
