There is no way ever the Cardinal Insignia will be changed you would have a civil war with MLB and it's up to the team and there's no way they're going to change it Los Angeles will never change their Insignia either a big mistake to change the twins I think it will be changed back it's an iconic icon
A padre is a Catholic priest what about the New Orleans Saints the angels leave this stuff alone the Cardinal logo has been voted the most beautiful in MLB and it is two birds on a bat
This is bull crap whoever designed these logos is a huge basketball, football, or hockey fan because baseball logos are waaaaaay more unique and screw the other logos.
(re: A's + elephants) Back in Philadelphia, the team was thought to be a massive money pit, and was referred to as a "white elephant." So they adopted it as their mascot mostly out of spite.
The symbol in the redesigned STL logo is a fleur de lys which is associated with French culture both New Orleans and Saint Louis were founded by France
The logo for the cardinals is timeless, it's been virtually the same since the 50s and the "saints" logo is a symbol from France. Quebec has it on their Provence flag ... New Orleans and Saint Louis were both founded by France
My team is the Angels... personally, I prefer the current logo, except I would make one change: replace blue as an accent color with orange, and restore the halo to the top of the hat...
Being a Pirates fan, I liked the early 90s baseball diamond logo for the Buccos. Was disappointed when they ditched it but the modern P on the black jerseys looks cool.
13:00 I will pick Indians' current logo over the reconstructed logo because without the feather, it almost reminds me of NBA's CLEVELAND CAVALIERS former logo
Most of the current logos are fine. If it's not broken don't mess with it. The Brewers should go back to the logo that looks like a glove with a ball in it and also looks like the letters M B. And this guy obviously doesn't know baseball history. The T C logo for the Twins represents the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The elephant logo for the A's goes back to the early 20th century when the Philadelphia Athletics played the New York Giants in the World Series and Giants Manager John McGraw referred to the Athletics as white elephants. Connie Mack adopted the elephant logo after beating the Giants in the series. And the letter design and colors on the Mets caps represents both the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers.
That redesigned cardinals logo is the fluer de Lise. It is a major symbol in St. Louis. Like New Orleans, St. Louis is a French city. It was named after king Louis of France after the French settled it. The flag of St. Louis has the fluer de Lise on it as well. However I don’t like the fluer de Lise as a primary logo. I think it would look cool as a secondary tho
Here’s the story on the elephant: In the 1900s, the Giants tried to insult the A’s by calling them “white elephants”. Connie Mack decided to implement the white elephant into the logo as to tell the Giants: “Fuck you.” And it’s stuck around ever since.
The story of the elephant as Oakland’s secondary logo comes from the old Philadelphia Athletics. It was their logo before they moved to Oakland, so they use it to pay homage to the original team
Favorite one out of all of them was the Indians. Ever since they got rid of chief Wahoo the plain C is just horrible Least favorite was the Dodgers. As a dodger fan the logo is just too clean to change.
St. Louis uses that logo because the fleur-de-lis is a French symbol and Saint Louis is named after King Louis of France. New Orleans also has a lot of French of influence
That customize logos trying to represent the fleur-de-lis is a of the St Louis flag and it's a French symbol (hint st.louis name after the French King Louie the 9th)
14:09 bottom left picture (not the MLB logo) THAT'S THE ALTERNATE LOGO FOR THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES!!! Current logo is the liberty bell WITH PHILLIES IN CURSIVE
I am an Astros fan and I am here after what happened and as an Astros fan myself I feel like that would be the only team now to recreate it to an Asterisk
The Athletics have used the elephant since 1901. New York Giants manager John McGraw dismissed the Philadelphia Athletics by calling them "White Elephants". Connie Mack heard what he said and made the white elephant the team's insignia, and it stuck.
for the angels i peffer to do the blue angels logo even though i like the angels the most out of all my favorite teams i perfer the blue to be their main and the red one for the secondary logo
Alright, here we go: Twins: The wording in the logo looks awesome, would take just that part of it though Marlins: The teal doesn't fit well as a secondary color with orange Mariners: Too close of a resemblance to the Seahawks and it doesn't fit that well for them Rays: Everything about this is absolute trash, not even worthy of being a tee ball logo Cubs: Would make for a cool minor league logo Angels: Color scheme doesn't fit well Padres: Because the colors of piss and shit look so professional White Sox: Discount Cleveland Indians, pretty much Dodgers: This would look cool as an alternate for the Chargers, doesn't fit well for a classic team Cardinals: See Twins Nationals: I agree, it's too straight edged Blue Jays: Would look bad on a cap or on the front of the jersey Athletics: The elephant should just stay a patch logo, nothing more Reds: Having a mascot that isn't an animal as your logo is just an awful idea Diamondbacks: See Cubs Braves: I'd pick this one over the current logo easily Brewers: I'd take the gold color from the new logo and use it to touch up the old one, and that's it Red Sox: Looks like the logo of a failing bar and grill :P Orioles: See Twins Tigers: This one is just bad... I can't pinpoint even one specific thing about it, it's just.... bad..... Rockies: If the wording in the Indians new logo was all red, I'd take both this and that one, if not then change the C so it doesn't look as similar as their current letter logo Pirates: Just seems way to childish to be an MLB logo Astors: Can't decide if the color scheme makes this look like a generic sports drink or a WNBA team Royals: Maybe just add a crown to the current logo, the gold in this one really breaks it Mets: Definitely a WNBA team Yankees: If the Yankees current logo didn't have such a history to it, I'd definitely pick this one, on the other hand this format would look amazing for the Rangers Giants: The lack of separation between the S and the F bothers me, maybe add a cream accent around the edges of the lettering? Indians: Make the wording all red and I'd take it Rangers: See Twins Phillies: See Cubs
Angels should go back to the 93-96 logo, also bring back and modernize the 70-85 california state logo with the halo. Or at the very least they should do the navy hat with red brim which is more traditional throughout Angel's history
The one they did for the mariners looks terrible. The green color is the seahawks "action green" color instead of the kinda dark teal color. Plus the Baseball is on a compass which sailors use religiously in order to determine their direction, while the new one just has a wave. That's just ridiculous.
The a’s have an elephant because they’re their mascot obviously.... but it’s their mascot because a long time ago on of the giants managers refused to play them in the World Series and called them a bunch of “white elephants”
Who is your favorite team? What logo would you prefer? Current or redesigned?
my favorite team is the san fransico giants and I would prefer the new logo
Austin Kleschka White Sox
Austin Kleschka my favorite team is the Yankees and I preferred the new logo
Austin Kleschka A's
My favorite team is the Giants are preferred the old one since you’re not separation between that in the orphanage like to block you
Ball and glove logo for Brewers
Perfect
I miss that logo
The Sorgi Family hate brewers
I like in Wisconsin so Milwaukee Brewers r my team they should go with my ball ang glove
Jacob Bult u got ur wish
0:55 "To my knowledge, I don't know." Greatest quote of all time lol 😂😂😂
A Cardinal is also a Catholic priest of sorts.
Drew Baker also, SAINT Louis.
Also the red feathers like on a cardinal
St. Louis had some French settlers, and that is a flour de lis, the symbol of the French monarchy
To me the San Diego Padres logo on the left looks like what you would find on a cookie box
You can't change the Cubs Logo, it's probably one of the most well-known logos in the world, like the Jumpman.
Daniel Voss fr like Yankees cubs dodgers and Red Sox are way too iconic to change
I agree
Bill 2024 and reds
Disagree. People in Russia have no idea what it means
The redesigns all look like minor league baseball logos. I'm a fan of minor league baseball but their logos are terrible.
msminmichigan IKR!! They do look like minor league logos.
Don’t hate on the Flying Chanclas!!
Tigers
The elephant stems from when the Athletics were in Philadelphia 100 years ago and used that icon as their symbol.
This is bull crap whoever designed these logos is a huge basketball, football, or hockey fan because baseball logos are waaaaaay more unique and screw the other logos.
Infinite Zeal yeah
Fr they all look like hockey or like some minor league crap😂😂
The Mets one looked like a soccer logo
Caden Kelly wait, so your saying that hockey is crap
We found them! The worst concept logos on the Internet!
That new Pirates one would be cooler with a eye patch over the skull eye. But I also love the classic yellow P.
I love watching these!!! Great job Spider man!! 👍And I hope you stay safe from the California fires!!!
Hat logos aren't supposed to be flashy so no, keep all of the current logos
Exactly
The logo for the cardinals is timeless, it's been virtually the same since the 50s and the "saints" logo is a symbol from France. Quebec has it on their Provence flag ... New Orleans and Saint Louis were both founded by France
My team is the Angels... personally, I prefer the current logo, except I would make one change: replace blue as an accent color with orange, and restore the halo to the top of the hat...
That blue jays hat with the full bird on it like the cardinals and orioles do would look pretty cool! I think they should do it!
“Looks very well” 🤔
The elephant is represented by Connie Mack because I believe John McGraw called the team elephants and Connie Mack made the Elephant.
Being a Pirates fan, I liked the early 90s baseball diamond logo for the Buccos. Was disappointed when they ditched it but the modern P on the black jerseys looks cool.
The diamondbacks logo now sideways is the head of a diamondback snake.
Whenever you get the Cardinals I was like oh no they might be going back to the Browns logo
Baseball logos have a different style than other sports... So this just seems they changed the mlb logos to like NFL/NHL logos
13:00 I will pick Indians' current logo over the reconstructed logo because without the feather, it almost reminds me of NBA's CLEVELAND CAVALIERS former logo
Detroit and I would keep the old English D
Lets go Angels! I wouldn't change the logo at all
You should do nhl logos
Phillies are my favorite. I like the logo they used for players weekend which is just the liberty bell without a ball.
Paul. In the 1900s, the Giants tried to insult the A’s by calling them “white elephants”. Connie Mack decided to implement the white elephant into the logo as to tell the Giants: “Fuck you.” And it’s stuck around ever since.
For Detroit, you could also see it as tires as a reference to Motown
The story of the elephant as Oakland’s secondary logo comes from the old Philadelphia Athletics. It was their logo before they moved to Oakland, so they use it to pay homage to the original team
The cardinal is someone involved with church and that is why the saints logo is in the new logo for St. Louis
Favorite one out of all of them was the Indians. Ever since they got rid of chief Wahoo the plain C is just horrible
Least favorite was the Dodgers. As a dodger fan the logo is just too clean to change.
I agree with you with the Red Sox one. (I'm a Bruins fan and Red Sox fan)
Technically the Mets logo is a baseball with the NYC skyline.
What’s the sound effect you use when you pick the logo?
14:09 bottom left picture (not the MLB logo) THAT'S THE ALTERNATE LOGO FOR THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES!!! Current logo is the liberty bell WITH PHILLIES IN CURSIVE
I am an Astros fan and I am here after what happened and as an Astros fan myself I feel like that would be the only team now to recreate it to an Asterisk
A’s Logo is my favorite of all these
Original or remake ?
Memeking 69 remake
the resigned cardinals logo is the fleur de lis which represent st louis' french heritich. i still like the old one tho
I’m an Angels fan as well!!! Let’s go!
my favorite team is the Halos
Get your Red ON.
I hated the redesigned Angels one
Jonny Test I thought you liked the ham hawks
the Phillies are a blunt if I am not mistaking.
The redesigned Washington Nationals logo looks damn awesome!
i am a big fan of the angels and i actually like the blue and yellow redesigned one
The star for the Yankees is the stupidest thing ever because it’s never changed and for me it feels WAY to nostalgic to ever change
Do the NHL next
Matthew Reinert yeah
nice profile pic
rip humbolt broncos
My favorite are the Braves and if the bat was a tomahawk and I would pick it but right now the current one
The redesigned Tigers, White Sox, Cardinals, Mets, and Rangers are Amazing
Minnesota is known for lumberjacks haven’t you heard of Paul Bunyon
The Athletics have used the elephant since 1901. New York Giants manager John McGraw dismissed the Philadelphia Athletics by calling them "White Elephants". Connie Mack heard what he said and made the white elephant the team's insignia, and it stuck.
I love the Chief Wahoo logo for the Indians! CHANGE IT BACK! HATE THE C LOGO!
Why does SD have 1 regular eye & 1 squiggle line for the other?
I liked the video as soon as I heard you say you're an Angels fan
The Athletics have the elephant on their jerseys because a rival coach in the 1900’s called the team a white elephant
for the angels i peffer to do the blue angels logo even though i like the angels the most out of all my favorite teams i perfer the blue to be their main and the red one for the secondary logo
Alright, here we go:
Twins: The wording in the logo looks awesome, would take just that part of it though
Marlins: The teal doesn't fit well as a secondary color with orange
Mariners: Too close of a resemblance to the Seahawks and it doesn't fit that well for them
Rays: Everything about this is absolute trash, not even worthy of being a tee ball logo
Cubs: Would make for a cool minor league logo
Angels: Color scheme doesn't fit well
Padres: Because the colors of piss and shit look so professional
White Sox: Discount Cleveland Indians, pretty much
Dodgers: This would look cool as an alternate for the Chargers, doesn't fit well for a classic team
Cardinals: See Twins
Nationals: I agree, it's too straight edged
Blue Jays: Would look bad on a cap or on the front of the jersey
Athletics: The elephant should just stay a patch logo, nothing more
Reds: Having a mascot that isn't an animal as your logo is just an awful idea
Diamondbacks: See Cubs
Braves: I'd pick this one over the current logo easily
Brewers: I'd take the gold color from the new logo and use it to touch up the old one, and that's it
Red Sox: Looks like the logo of a failing bar and grill :P
Orioles: See Twins
Tigers: This one is just bad... I can't pinpoint even one specific thing about it, it's just.... bad.....
Rockies: If the wording in the Indians new logo was all red, I'd take both this and that one, if not then change the C so it doesn't look as similar as their current letter logo
Pirates: Just seems way to childish to be an MLB logo
Astors: Can't decide if the color scheme makes this look like a generic sports drink or a WNBA team
Royals: Maybe just add a crown to the current logo, the gold in this one really breaks it
Mets: Definitely a WNBA team
Yankees: If the Yankees current logo didn't have such a history to it, I'd definitely pick this one, on the other hand this format would look amazing for the Rangers
Giants: The lack of separation between the S and the F bothers me, maybe add a cream accent around the edges of the lettering?
Indians: Make the wording all red and I'd take it
Rangers: See Twins
Phillies: See Cubs
Best logo: Braves
Worst logo: Rays
Why din’t do you do the Milwaukee brace
Your rite Spidey you can never change Boston.
The Cardinals logo was a Flur De Lis on the city flag, I like the original though.
I feel like the cubs logo is like the Red Sox or Yankees logo, it’s too iconic to be changed.
Angels should go back to the 93-96 logo, also bring back and modernize the 70-85 california state logo with the halo. Or at the very least they should do the navy hat with red brim which is more traditional throughout Angel's history
The Nationals actually copied wall greens
11:29. Quite ironic how he said that.
Where do you find these logos
The one they did for the mariners looks terrible. The green color is the seahawks "action green" color instead of the kinda dark teal color. Plus the Baseball is on a compass which sailors use religiously in order to determine their direction, while the new one just has a wave. That's just ridiculous.
Can you do hockey logos
The Padres one reminds me too much of the Celtics
All the redesigned logos look like minor league logos
The logo for cardinals represents a saint in which is in the city name St.Louis
The tc in the twins stands for twin city
It’s not a New Orleans thing, it’s a French thing. Which is why it’s used for the Saints’ logo to show the area’s French heritage.
I thought of the logos more like spring training/bp
I agree with you a lot but I would change the diamond backs logo
Hey spidey your the GOAT at softball i wonder why your not in the mlb
Where’s the Red in the angels logo ?
what does an elephant have to do with the oakland athletics
I like that Pirates logo that'd be a bad ass looking on a hat
Tampa Bay - TOO MUCH YELLOW (or too thick a line).
The Cardinals logo is the Saints logo, but it is made of feathers.
We should sign a petition to get the old name of Devil Rays back.
All the possible logo changes would work in the 90's and early 2000's
The a’s have an elephant because they’re their mascot obviously.... but it’s their mascot because a long time ago on of the giants managers refused to play them in the World Series and called them a bunch of “white elephants”
The st.Louis cardinals logo saint points are feathers
this may or may not have been said already, but it is not the bears "C" has the Cincinatti Reds were around long before the bears.
Brewers should go back to the logo with the m b that is in the shape of a baseball mitt
The saint Louis one is a logo for a saint
What you used is their cap insigna not their primary logo
The Mets logo is literally the Giants logo from when they were in New York.
what website is that your on
Milwaukee should have a mug of beer as their logo
Spidey are you from Boston or Canada?
I wouldn't mess with the Braves "A" logo
The updated Yankees logo would look good for spring training
I saw u at angels stadium against the dodgers July 6th
