I was already an X veteran when this came out & remember staying home from school to beat it. One time I let my noob cousin play it & died loling when he kept getting slayed by the bosses

Great review! I just wish you mentioned the Z-Saber being obtainable. It's my favorite part of the game, that thing is really strong.
The pink chips went unmentioned too, but I only chose one of those back in the day when my friends and I didn't know about the gold armor yet, so we tested and picked different pink chips.
As much as I want to cover everything, I can't cover all of it. I know I forgot the Pink Chips and the Z-saber, but I mostly wanted to beat the game and get it over with haha

This was a great video and I thought mega man x 3 was a 7/10
Mega Man X3 is definitely a 7/10 due to the stuff it likes to throw at you. But it still plays like the original two and there is quality in X3!
I think the Mega Man X3 soundtrack is highly underrated as it contains some bangers such as Volt Catfish's, Crush Crawfish's, Gravity Beetle's, and Buffalo Blizzard's stages. In addition, the Intro stage and Zero's theme are high quality. I'm slightly disappointed the X Legacy Collection doesn't contain the PS1 version as I think for the most part it sounds better than its SNES counterpart. While it is indeed the worst of the first 4 X games, I still give it an 8/10.
I think the PS1 version does have charm, but it sucks that it's only on the X Collection back in 2005. I never understood why they gave us the SNES version when the PS1 version was more superior.
@@Brianycus While I had a SNES a year after its release I have never played X3 until the X Collection on PS2 which I still own, but doesn't display on my 4k smart TV even with an adapter to play my PS2 games. I kept hearing that the SNES one is better than the PS1 version, but obviously we both disagree.

I liked the music in this game, honestly & unfortunately enough for you. It made this otherwise crappy game worth playing for me.
Unless it's the Zero Patch, which fixes most of X3's problems & makes Zero an actually playable character - yeah.
Besides the good music for me personally..... This game sucks.
This game wasn't great but I still had a fun time. Definitely much better than X7 lmao
