I’ve seen fanmade videos as of recent remaking the trailer with animation that actually looks like Minecraft. Sure, they had references to go off of, but they still did it in under a week. Imagine if a full animation team was given the time & resources to make a *proper* animated movie.
When the characters in the movie based on the haunted Chuck E Cheese horror game look so much better than the characters in the movie based on one of if not the most popular game of all time: (fnaf had the creator of the games be super involved in the making of the movie, he even wrote the screenplay for the fnaf movie and when making the movie the main goal was to make the fans happy, with the minecraft movie I'm not even sure if the people making this movie have even played the games)
I'm baffled at the fact that they wanted to make a live action Minecraft movie and not an animated one. The casting is mid at best, and the leaked plot doesn't really look good. I'm gonna probably watch it, but for the memes with my friends.
