So true! I was trying to learn Portuguese and it was kind of hard because of the pronunciation, I decided to give Italian a Try and let me tell you. It was wayyy easy because of how similar it is to Spanish including pronunciation . Now that my daughter is ready to learn another language I told her to start with Italian and then Spanish because it is just going to be waaay easier.

That is how we speak the Spanish language it's actually part of our culture and if you search correctly you can see the backstory on why we pronounce words certain ways. A lot has to do with the Taino indians Arawakan language. It is most definitely NOT because we are dumb it is most certainly in our blood.
I agree that Puerto Rican do speak that way, but most of my family doesn't. It is not an entirely Puerto Rican thing to do and it doesn't mean you're a "good" Puerto Rican if you do. I was taught to pronounce everything properly.

Well in Mexico mexicans do speak spanish or another language dialect native tongue. Here in the U.S us is different especially if theyre 2nd, 3rd generation most likely they know very little or nothing at all. Some parents either don't care to teach them because they live in USA and rather them be fluent in english which is ridiculous because children have an entire lifetime to learn english. Or when families immigrate here in the U.S.A they sometimes sacrifice the spanish so that their kids don't speak with an accent or simply just racism. I grew up speaking spanish at home learning English in school and i did just fine my spanish is pretty fluent, i have a child and we only speak spanish at home because i want her to be bilingual its better for them in the long run.

Aparcar, estacionarse, and parquear are all correct. The last one has recently become acceptable in the Spanish language since it is used in parts of Central America and South America.

Spanish was my native language too. But I went to schools in the US so I totally get her. You learn the basics at home but become better developed in English over time.

“Foundation” in Spanish is “base” o “maquillaje”. Foundation as in “fundación” means like an organization. Ex: Ronald McDonald’s Foundation.

Spanish was my native language too. But I went to schools in the US so I totally get her. You learn the basics at home but become better developed in English over time.

Im Mexican & we say for make up brush is “brocha” not “ cepillo” but then again in different countries they say it different. Over all love the video.

So I did the opposite here of what most people were watching this video for...hardly paid attention to the makeup and tried really hard to pick up what you were saying and learning from it LOL. But I re-watched it for the makeup and its muy hermosa!!
