Why do you cut the yarn on the inside? How do you get the white in the center to be centered? Is that what the sl st and at the end of rounds are for?

Install the 8mm safety pins (eyes) between R7 and R8 from the top, each 4 sts from the center
The last 2 minutes of the video is frozen but I assume it's just sewing the ears. Is the nose stuffed or no?
