The crock with the red stems just topped it off perfectly. The tree is so pretty. The very top branch, the tallest one on the tree, I normally fold it down and stick the star down on it and push it down real good. Good luck with the star. ❤😊

Thank you so much! I love the pop of red in the crock too! I was happy to stumble across those. I’m going to have to work on that star some more. Thanks for the tip! 😅

Everything looks so beautiful, Jenny. I love the traditional look and you decorated it perfectly. I am also decorating with a classic look. Our big tree is decorated with cranberry color and gold decor. We have two small trees, one we decorate with all of our memory special ornaments. The other tree is decorated with natural ornaments…pine cones and oranges slices that I dried out. We love Christmas here in Arkansas! Our weather is getting colder too so it is feeling more like Christmas. You have a terrific day! Thank you for inviting us in. I’m enjoying your channel.

Love it it all turned out so beautiful! I also had a problem getting my star to stay on top of my new tree it fits on my other tree. I put up two trees this year. I told my husband I said no wonder people just use pics on top nowadays. Love how the red turned out with the green stems in the crock that’s just what it needed! I went ahead and went this year with blue silver white and a smoky gray color for my theme. Can’t wait for next year. I’m going back traditional I try to alternate it a little bit but traditional is my favorite.

Thank you so much! I think that pop of red in the crock was just right too! I bet your tree is beautiful! It’s nice to change it up sometimes. I just always find myself coming back to traditional Christmas colors! Have a great weekend! 😁

It's beautiful Jenny 🎄 I have to do the same with my mantle garland because it is stone so command hooks won't work.

You need to twist the branch into your tree star

Okay so with the tree star. Grab a bunch of branches from the sides and back along with the front to make the stem of the star interior nice and tight. It has to sit really low to the bottom of the branches, tucked into it. The base pretty much has to be kind of buried into the tree. I’ve tried zip ties, clips, pipe cleaners, wire etc. and this is the only thing that works. When you are done, you should only see the star and not the base of it. Hope this makes sense and helps.

I have your Star solution! I saw a lady zip tied hers to a wooden dowel then zip tied the dowel to the tree trunk. We did this to our heavy star on our church tree. We haven’t attached it yet but when I saw that video I was like duh why couldn’t I think of that??
