Could listen to his voice for hours. One thing I appreciate about watching Cushing in his films is no matter if he's playing the villain or the protagonist he gives off this sense of security while seeing him as his character at the same time. Knowing he's the one playing the role you know no matter what danger comes around the corner or the one deadly line that comes out of his mouth you're still going to be okay. If he dies in the film then you're on your own. Charming, generous, dedicated, and forever in our hearts Peter Cushing! :)
Peter Cushing gave his all. These brief views show him treating the often ludicrous subject with a dedication that showed him to be the total artist that he was. When I first saw these films I knew there was something very special about him. I didn’t know who he was, only knew he had a presence that made me forget it was only a movie. I still feel that way.
2:46 "Most people seem to have the impression that you sort of get up when you feel like it, go down to the studio, then have a tremendous affair with your leading lady". Grace, charm and wit, all in one glorious package called Peter Cushing!
Thank you much for this and all. IMHO, Hammer was leagues above everyone for two reasons: Cushing and James Bernard. No, I tell a lie: three reasons, the third being the lush wonderful cinematography.
He used to like playing with soldiers he was also a good artist friends with none other than Sir William Russell Flint who lived near him in Kensington
He was a delightful gentleman.

Legend
R.I.P Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee.
Did you know that Peter was actually afraid of the dark. Lovely talented gentleman.
My understanding was that he got it under control as a young adult or something.
i've just noticed that Peter Cushing looked very charming with a moustache. pity he didn't wear one all the time.

my maternal grandfather had the box-browning ... saw it plenty with my own two eyes in the flesh
