    Yet another presentation style utilizing SketchUp that is creative and unique. Not something possible in most cad programs.

    New to all this but I have a vast imagination & wanted to start a 3d printing business. My question is can I draw and print anything ?

    • @SketchUp
      @SketchUp  11 месяцев назад

      'Anything' is pretty broad. There may be some limits to the size of what you 3D print. But in theory, yes you can draw, or model anything and send to 3D printer.

    Can you make a hand drawing from a photo shop then import it to sketchup?

    • @ericsargeant3254
      @ericsargeant3254 Год назад

      Yes. The drawing I showed here was done in Photoshop.As ling as it's a PNG or JPEG it doesn't matter what you use to create the sketch.

    How did you make the cars sketchy style?

    • @ericsargeant3254
      @ericsargeant3254 Год назад +1

      I didn't make them sketchy. I just took all the materials out of them. A quick way to remove materials from an object/component is by using ThomThom's 'Materials Tools'

    ♥but Isn't it difficult to cut out trees and people?

    • @gusbert
      @gusbert Год назад +1

      Not difficult, just "fiddly". When tracing complex shapes with the line tool, turn off inferencing by pressing Alt (PC) to make things easier.

    • @ericsargeant3254
      @ericsargeant3254 Год назад +1

      It's not but depending on the level of detail, it can take some time. Feel free to check out ImageTrimmer - which is part of TIG's SKM Tools that will automate the process of cutting out images, including sketches!
