After doing all the math, I did an OutKast ($1000) with Eastlake axles ($240). Running 28” Blackwater’s - It’s a little killer! Got a brand new set of takeoff 29” turbo wheels with bighorn’s coming.
What way do you turn the rack to put the longer arms on the rack and pinion I want to do the same thing you did put the longer rods on this 570 rack what way do they come off
I have a 2015 RZR 570 EPS with stock steering and starting the "S" conversion. What part do I need from SuperATV for steering? Heavy duty rack and pinion? Rackboss heavy duty rack and pinion? or just the heavy duty tie rod kit? tried contacting SuperATV, they are not helpful.
Really you just need longer tie rod tubes between the inner and outer tie rods. You could cut and weld an extension in the existing one for cheap. I bought the heavy duty steering rack for the 800 S and its a perfect fit if you want to go that route also.
@@ericsscout Thanks for replying. Welding is out, I don't know how. Is this the one you ordered? www.superatv.com/polaris-rzr-800-heavy-duty-rack-and-pinion?sku=HDRP-1-1-5#DD
Portals give you either a 4", 6", or 8" lift depending on which you choose. They give the lift at the outside of the suspension so the entire machine is lifted, not just the center. A typical lift will just push your a arms down where portals will not. There is also a gear reduction in the portal boxes themselves allowing the use of bigger tires or more gear reduction for torque multiplication. Another of the big advantages is your drive train sees only the stock stresses. The transmission, belt, differential, and axles see only stock loads as the gear reduction handles all the extra torque. The suspension is still allowed to move the standard up and down travel instead of losing down travel with a typical lift. Another advantage is the ability to run whatever wheels you want from other utv's. If you notice my wheels are not Polaris wheels. Mine are a 4x110 pattern instead of the Polaris 4x156. Hope this helps.
You can run the 570 stock shocks as long as you move the rears to the front or use an 800S lift kit that relocatew the top of the shocks. I got my ranger 900xp shocks from ebay. I believe the seller is powersportsnation
@@nathanfolkers7699 i believe it will as the chassis are basically the same. I ended up going with GDP Portals instead though. Much better for how i ride

No doubt your steering is hard. Your ball joints pivot is 8" from the center of the rim.
Thanks for listening everything makes it easy for my conversion!!
I strongly suggest running front and rear frame braces from Rt pro when doing the long travel for rzr 570
Thanks for the tip. I did order a Gilbert Designs front diff plate to replace the stock one and the upper a arm brace. They are beefy!
I know this is an old video what springs did you end up going with if I may ask thinking of doing the same swap to mine
Thats a badass build. I like to buy one of them RZR 570. What year is your 570. What year of Ranger are the rear a-arms, axles, shocks from. Thanks😁
I knownyhis video is older but I was wondering what steering rack you wound up using
Will all this work without portals or would I have to do extra stuff to it ?
What clutch mods did you have to make to run those tires?

Just whichever way it extends the race to the side you need. Untreated your old ones then thread in the new ones.

What is the reason for the portal's...? Im new to the rzr world and would love to widen my 2014 xc 800.

@@volvo88mb1 you're welcome
What would be the tallest tire that will fit for that set up
Do you have the link for the correct rear axles, I ordered 2 but there about 2 inches to long, do the years of the ranger models matter for the axles?
Sounds like you ended up with rzr axles instead of ranger axles. I bought the Sixity but these are the same size.

Which these arms do you have to get the shocks with them or can you just run the 570 stock shocks?

Appreciate the honesty, expensive sport
On the rear arms do they have to be highlifter or will oem work?
OEM arms work great also. Thats what I'm putting on my other one.
Great thanks for the reply👍👍
How do you get their scratch and dent parts
I bought the super atv steering kit but what tie rods did you use? The kits rods are too long
I used the super atv 800 S steering kit with the tie rods.
What was the total price of this set up
What gear reduction are the portals your running
What are running for shocks
Will this s conversion work for the rzr800 50 inch model? mines an 08 im trying to convert it on the cheap

How much did it cost?
Great video! What ratio are your portal boxes?
30% in the portal boxes. Going to a 32 inch tire soon.
I see we both work for the same company. I am out of Denver
