Another thing that made Heather O'Rourke aka Carol Anne Freeling seem younger than she really is in this was her wearing those red onesie footsie pajamas that would be more associated with a little girl of about 5 or 6 than 11 or 12
Yea they made her wear that red onezee pajama suit something she could've wore back in the first 1982 Poltergeist Movie when she was 5 years old..its wierd they wanted to disturbingly keep Carol Anne looking cute and young as she looked and appeared during the first 2 Poltergeist Movies Poltergeist 1982, and Poltergeist 2 1986..As if they didnt want her to get old or grow up ..very wierd and disturbing if u think about how they made her during Poltergeist 3 look as if she was still 6 to 9 years old especially at the ending where Pat her Auntie is carrying holding Carol Anne cradled asleep in her arms just like she was asleep in the first Poltergeist Movie in her Mother Diane's arms at the end when the Freelings check into a Motel and theyre on the balcony pushing the T.V outside..totally wierd if u think
@@randallagbayani7466 I would assume that's more because of hte issue of having very young children act well, so you often have to cast older children and then, for the subsequent movies, the issues of a proper established continuity in that, in the universe of the movies, 1 or 2 years could have passed between the first and the third movie and she therefore could not suddenly be 12.
@lazyfranchisereviews well they do hint or touch base sort of on her age range now remembering a scene in Poltergeist 3 when carol anne is in the classroom of the gifted childrens school where the teacher is giving info about different musicians who were very smart and advanced amongst their young age achieving extra unordinary abilities and when she said a guy wrote a certain piece of music at the ripe old age of 11 or 12 she sort of touched carol Anne on the shoulder smiling giving a hint around what age group she would be identifying with ..so we kind of know she was 5 in the first movie and whats been implied and hinted in Poltergeist 3 does the math estimate and that makes carol Anne about 12 years old
@@randallagbayani7466 Right. I remember the scene, but not the detail. I guess they may have had a cake and tried to eat it two, both hinting at a more direct continuinty and also adjusting for the fact that she is now much older. The result: Quite bad and confusing. And disturbing in a way.
I was born in Europe in the 90s, so I am afraid that I do not fit either of those criteria :) Of course, that is not a perfect excuse for not knowing it, but I do not recall if I have seen it in anything else. Unless it was in a Simpsons episode or something.
@lazyfranchisereviews oic..yea u can see that the speak and spell toy also briefly appears in the first poltergeist movie sitting on the shelf with some of the kids toys.
@@lazyfranchisereviews another errie creepy thing to take notice of, is a super bowl 1988 poster can be seen in the first poltergeist movie hanging on the wall in the kids room.we later find out that Heather o Rourke would die during the filming of poltergeist 3 on Sunday superbowl 1988.
@@randallagbayani7466 Really? That is odd. Does it bare any resemblance to the actual super bowl posters of 1988 or is it just an odd mistake? That is indeed an eerie coincidence. The whole story about her illness is just so damn tragic.

It is cool you noticed that. I wonder what else may be hiding in the background.
