9:20 You could get Yoshi through there. Just have him drop the dry bones shell on the ground, then ditch him so he lands on the treadmill. He’ll go down through the spikes. You can then go down with the dry bones shell the intended way, but have Yoshi at the bottom. Then do the same with the upward treadmill. It wouldn’t do anything helpful since the end is right after. But you could finish with your pal Yoshi if you really want to.
Alright, I was making and eating Mac & Cheese while watching this video. And the cheese was not half as delicious as the cheese in that long level. Bravo!
I imagine the reason there are no checkpoints is because the red coins are mandatory. But it's done in such a bad way, it would be better to get rid of them and put checkpoints instead.
Alisthesia since the first subworld exit is near the beginning of the level, it would be fine to put a checkpoint there somewhere since on a checkpoint clear you could drop back down to get the ones you missed.
+[Alisthesia] Checkpoints save red coins, though. And for uploading the level, there are various points where the creator could have jumped back to the beginning to get all the red coins.
9:55 I used Google Translate Title: "Through the occupied mushroom plateau ~ Land Jack ~ Part3" Description: "Someone occupied the peaceful mushroom plateau. Will you be able to face the multitude of looming challenges"
The first Japanese one said: "The course that you probably can't clear" "It's a little difficult at first." The second Japanese one said: "Run through the occupied mushroom plateau" "Somebody occupied the peaceful mushroom plateau. Will you be able to face the challenge and reach the goal? Break the wall of a 0% clear rate!"
5:00 The hidden block is probably 1 tile off the ground - so as soon as you pick up the mushroom, you can no longer jump into it unless you bother to duck!
I feel like the "auto-mario" tag should've been a tell. You didn't try just standing in place, when there are a number of glitches that could've caused that to be the solution. Hell, there are even glitchless levels where just sitting there can progress it. But that's just a guess.
My suspicion is that if you wait there until the timer is almost done, a key will finally drop down the way the mushroom did.and the key door will take you to the goal with a fraction of a second to spare. I don't have my Switch at hand right now to try it out, but that's what I would do with that setup if I wanted to be an evil troll about it.
@@bradleys6646 That's disappointing. Nothing more annoying than waiting through the entire timer for the key to lazily drop in at the last second. Amateur trolls these days...
@@Merennulli Yeah, I also waited and did it 2 two times: one grabbing mushroom, one not. I thought that grabbing mushroom will affect entity limit somehow(e.g. if you grab it, something will be able to spawn which will trigger giving you a key, or vice versa - if you don grab it, something will spawn preventing the mechanism that triggers the key). But nope. I still think that it's entity limit trick and you need to grab mushroom at specific time for all pieces to align together.
The description for that last level is so fitting! >Flee the occupied mushroom plateau! ~~Land Jack~~ Part 3 >The once peaceful mushroom plateau has been conquered. Can you face the countless trials and tribulations to reach the goal? Destroy the 0% clear rate barrier! Clearly you should do the other parts.
The right amount of suffering, laughs, cheese and win. Its your signature dish. This should be a Ryu "Instant Classic" video if there were such a thing.
4:58 Probably needed multiple people so you can stack and throw as well as respawn. Although not sure how he completed the level. Could be a timer (at last second) that triggers an item, could also be coupled with leap of faith. Or maybe it’s something interesting with a tech? Or on the side. Best guess it’s a glitch then used for coop.
My amateur analysis of all of these levels: level 1: all the hallmarks of hot garbage. It's still hot garbage, but at least he was trying something), and a lot of tough jumps with no chance for a do-over. level 2: my guess is that if you waited 299 seconds, a key would drop from nowhere, taking you directly to the end. That's not even hot garbage, that's an absolutely terrible level. level 3: sort of all over the place. The first section was a pretty good puzzle level, and actually a good use of the darkness mechanic. The second section with the saws bordered dangerously clsoe to hot garbage, and then the post checkpoint section was just yoshi having fun. level 4: textbook hot garbage. uncreative, tons of enemy spam, hidden powerups, way too f**king long for what it was, and totally cheesable. I'm honestly amazed there were no softlocks or kaizo block jump eaters.
