Hey guys I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future. Thx for reading.
Starting early is soo important! I watch people I know start assignments the week of, lose all their sleep and wonder why they didn't do well. Also the joining clubs one - I wish I went to club events in my first year it would've been so helpful later on. Great video man.
Appreciate the advice! Currently in community college studying cyber security, computer science, and math and looking at UCSD as one of the schools to transfer to. You're videos are giving me a great look at what it's like.
I'm looking at starting at a community college for the first two years of a cybersecurity degree before transferring to a university. How was the community college side of it? Are the initial classes challenging yet possible? My experience with community college was accommodating. Did they work with you in regards to a full time/part time job? And was any of it online. I'm trying to do as much online as possible.
@@frankybodanky Hey! I actually just graduated from my program this spring… The classes, though challenging, we’re definitely doable and the skills I learned are things that are actually applicable in industry. I also did the majority of my classes online, but if you can, it definitely is nice to be in person for hardware related classes. My professor is definitely the reason I’m where I’m at now… he let me tutor for all of the classes in the program as a part time job and also was always recommending positions/internships to me and my classmates. Was able to get positions at a national laboratory doing research, one at NASA, and now an internship at Meta. Community College is definitely what you make of it… if you’re willing to actually learn the skills (not just to get the grade) and network with your teachers and peers, you will do great! Hope that helps a bit and good luck!
Hi, I’m currently still in high school and am planning on majoring in CS in a year or so. I’ve participated in hackathons and stuff but haven’t really gotten into the backends of websites or code. Do you have any tips on what I should do to prepare for college? Thanks!
Hi, I'm a junior at UCSD and felt exhausted and anxious about finding an internship now. Can I ask when and how did you find your internships, and what kind of preparation you did for the interviews?
@@ByteOfMichael Thank you! Did they only ask coding questions or will they also ask technical questions regarding the position you applied for? Will they ask you something like implementing a feature or how to use a framework?
Hello Just wanted to congrat you on 1500 subs, that's a mile stone you know It's been a while since I watched a video of urs, and I'll be binging from now on Keep up the good work 🙂
If I’ve taken 2 high school Java courses with one that is AP and got a 5 on the exam will the intro course be manageable for me? I’m trying to transfer into the major. I also took a python course over the summer
> I'ma party every weekend
> I'ma take Gillespie's CSE 12

Gillespie’s CSE 12 is a party

Great video man.
Agree with everything you said and thanks!
With hand writing notes, make the first page your index . Label your pages with numbers and you can quickly find them 😁

I remember playing around with MMI a while ago, cool to know that you were a part of it!
Incoming transfer student in CS at UCSD this fall! Thanks for your informative videos :)
Congrats and good luck!
This is great studying advice. Transferring to SDSU as a CS major.
One of the best videos I've seen in a long time!!!
Yes great to see another one.
I love this, thank you
Glad you liked it, thanks!
Amazing video thanks
Thanks!
@@ByteOfMichael Your welcome
Great vid man
Thanks man!
Hi, I'm a junior at UCSD and felt exhausted and anxious about finding an internship now. Can I ask when and how did you find your internships, and what kind of preparation you did for the interviews?
I reviewed a lot of leetcode questions, glassdoor questions, and cracking the coding interview!
@@ByteOfMichael Thank you! Did they only ask coding questions or will they also ask technical questions regarding the position you applied for? Will they ask you something like implementing a feature or how to use a framework?
@@cbt2851 Ya it could be both depending on the position. From my experience its been mostly leetcode type questions or creating algorithms.

Thanks, really appreciate the kind words!
Listening to you felt like hanging out with a friend 🧡
Aw thank you!
It seems like a dream education and dream job.
They were both definitely great!

Ya I think the intro course will definitely be manageable for you, given your experience!
Deciding between UCSD CS and UCI CS, idk helppp. Btw I’m a transfer student (Revelle college, seems like I only need to take HUM 100 as my ge)
how did you get to learn so much about cs? I assumed that math cs majors primarily focus on math with a tad bit of computer science on the side
I would say working on projects has definitely helped me learn a lot more about CS, especially after college!
thx for the advice man.
I only watch these to the end for the British accent.
*in British voice* amazing
I stand now at deciding upon 2 year degree or a 4 year degree before going to college, someone help with a reason why.
I got to watch this for homework
haha damn that's cool
Tell your teacher I say hi
This video it perfect, I am literately a math cse major lol getting my ass kicked daily btw haha
I know how you feel man haha, good luck!
@@ByteOfMichael Thank you so much! I am a transfer student and have never actually been to ucsd because the pandemic, but I cant wait lol
