- More missions have been added to the game and we are going to attempt to put out a fire caused by a plane crash! It is good to see more updates coming to this game.

Hey Jeff! To help answer the questions referring to the nozzle count that can be used on the fire engine. Fire Engines have pumps that are rated at a Gallon Per Minute. If they allowed more nozzles than rated you risk running out of water constantly. And maybe even breaking the pump.

Jeff I just wanted to share here in the Philippines, we start celebrating Christmas as early as 1st of September. Shopping centers, restaurants, offices, the streets and private residences are filled with Christmas decorations and Christmas songs. Radio and television programs also play Christmas songs. We are just much excited for the festive vibes.
I've seen the videos of the ORBIS DC-10 in some aviation vlogs as well as some awareness videos, but I never had the chance to donate and find out more about the cause. Only watched for maybe 4-5 hours total of the streams, but was very enjoyable when I was tuning in. Glad you had fun in California and had safe travels back home to Missouri! I'm glad I was able to chip into this amazing cause!
The super realistic flight Sim was super cool. Got to watch about a dozen hours of it and it was very impressive but glad to have you back

Awesome video as usual. I agree with you on the Christmas music. I have been saying for a few years now that every year, we hear this music earlier and earlier and this year was no exception. I was hearing it before thanksgiving and it made me want to cut my ears off. Nothing like skipping over a holiday. I guess they think we all have nothing to be thankful for this year with inflation and all and lets not think about all of those who have survived Covid-19 up to this point. Keep up the good work Jeff.. you ROCK!!

Jeff, here in New England, as soon as it turns November 1 Christmas’s begins. It’s a joke here that October to January there’s just Halloween and Christmas. Thanksgiving tends to be forgotten here when it comes to decorating and what not.
Fun facts about firefighting!!
Fact 1: yellow firefighter helmets are for beginners, black is for a regular firefighter, red is for fire captains, and white is for Fire chiefs and Lieutenants!
Fact 2: SCBA’s or, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, are used by firefighters to not breathe in all the toxic smoke that is pushed out by the fire itself. They look like a scuba tank and firefighter have to wear them so they may be able to go into burning buildings!
Fact 3: Firefighters CANNOT GO IN ALONE! They are required to have at least one other firefighter to go in with them!
Fact 4: firefighters are expected to be dressed and out the door 60 seconds after a call comes in!

One of our family traditions is we make this edible sweet reef that looks like leaves, it’s supposed to be one of our dessert entree’s, but our family just delves into the reef right away. We call it “Thanksgiving Reef.” Also we do what you do as a tradition too Jeff, though we don’t call it a tradition. 😂

As a firefighter I really enjoy this game, but I wish they could implement a lot more realistic aspects. Like in this case you should be able to request additional resources to help. I realize they have limitations, but I have a whole list of things they could add that I’m sure would be possible. I think this could be a useful training tool for resource management and tactics.

same here man every time I play I think of a million things that they could easily implement, more realistic bunker gear, a timed process to don gear, instead of a menu in between missions you sit at the station and can walk around and clean trucks, add more to the training, thicker smoke depending on the fire, less victims depending on the fire, more medical calls, more car fires, don't force using the extinguisher on those small fires give us a choice and enable the ai to use them, the scbas need a time limit until they you have to change out, etc.. got another 100 I could give but you get my point lol
look up silver lining roleplay on youtube and find a video of someone roleplaying as fire we do things as realistic as possible on there for gta fivem
@@prez343 it would be awesome if as the incident develops dispatch paged more apparatus to the scene with more firefighters, total losses and really aggressive fires would be cool too, as well as medicals, mvcs etc

I’m surprised they didn’t also add airport rescue firefighting or ARFF trucks considering you also need foam to put out an airplane fire since water might not be sufficient enough on its own.
Plus aircraft fires burn way hotter, normal turnout gear would not be able to withstand that amount of heat. The ARFF trucks normally use the foam cannons at a safe distance to extinguish those types of fires. Something I learned from a trip to the fire academy.
@Othrin that was old turnouts proximity gear is being fazed out because new turnout technology has advanced to the point that our tan and black turnouts can handle aircraft fire levels of heat now
It’s interesting the game chose to use water instead of a simulated halon system. In my time in the Navy, I came across all of the fire classes and it wasn’t fun lol. Also, DC based here, and our local pop station 97.1 is playing Christmas music.
Love the sim games!! OCRP is also great!! I would love to see you do some more VR content tho! There are a lot of good VR games that suit your Channel.

Just a tip… the fire goes out faster if you aren’t right on top of it. You get better dispersal with the nozzle

Where I work in retail, our Christmas shipments started in mid September and were completed and set up throughout the store by early October. Our Christmas music started November 1st.

Born and raised in Southern California November 1st every year they switch over to Christmas music. Apparently California doesn't care about Thanksgiving.
I totally agree with you about the Christmas music being played so early. I hear it at the mall and work all the time and it's like seriously it's not December yet!!!!

In canada on the commercial side they always put Christmas music in shopping center just after the Halloween. In 2003 i was working in Sears and we had to put all the christmas decoration during the first week of november !
I thought the same in UK, the moment Halloween was over, Xmas decorations up in stores and music playing. It's far too early! This year seems earlier than ever. Not a fan, just makes me hat Christmas even more!

Yeah the radio station here in Southern California plays Christmas music from November through New years its coast 103.5 lol yup I'm use to it by now 🤣
With the Christmas Music, it'll be because it was after Thanksgiving - in Canada. Canada celebrated Thanksgiving on the 10th of October this year. In fact it is extremely common to hear Christmas Music from the 1st of November in many countries around the world, the USA is kind of the exception because of US Thanksgiving.

They’ve been playing Christmas music at my place of work since October 17th. Weeks before Halloween. It’s madness.
Jeff I have a quick question I’m when are you going to play the bus again cause there are 3 new routes and there is a MAN lions city double decker and the e citaro is coming in December and there are new routes on there and they get pretty busy so I was just asking when you are going to play it.

Christmas music has been playing at the grocery store I work at for just over a week now, we also have an overwhelming amount of Christmas merchandise accumulating already.
Damn man. I was in cali two weeks ago and flew out of Ontario airport back to Philly, and it was my first time ever on a plane. Im 43 and afraid of heights. Thought it was gonna turn out like a verse from the song "Ironic" 🤣 I'm not surprised Ontario is playing christmas music already.
The way I was raised up was Christmas music would play the day after thanks giving when we put up a real Or fake tree or Depending if we put up tree the day after or sometime the first week of DEC
But never paly or do Christmas stuff until thanks giving is over.
The same things happening here in Australia with Christmas.. first week of November and multiple neighbours already have their lights and crap up smh I ain’t no grinch but it’s annoying!!!!

My work was playing Christmas music November first, and they decorated everything on the 14th, way too early.
I work at a restaurant where the workers can choose a playlist. This one young girl started to play Christmas music and was shut down right away by a manager. A lot of young kids don’t care for thanksgiving nowadays and want to jump straight into Christmas is what I think.
I used to work somewhere where they turned on Christmas music November 1st and I've also been to some walmarts where they put up Christmas merch in October both is annoying

My work has started playing Christmas music, they started on Nov 1st. It is only a couple of songs currently but the closer we get, the more Xmas tunes will be added to the playlist....

About the Christmas music, yes people play Christmas music in November, I know of people that play it in the beginning of October and I'm with you Jeff, there is absolutely NO REASON to play Christmas music BEFORE DECEMBER! I don't get it and I honestly get frustrated because of it. It's a big pet peeve of mine.
Also, (typing this before the end of the vid so maybe you mentioned it) I'm assuming we'll see an ATS video soon on Texas? I've been driving around a bit and I'm extremely impressed with it. By far the most detailed map expansion to date. Can't wait to hear your reaction to it.

Test flights, specifically the first flight of a new airframe, usually leave the gear down for the whole flight. Although normal ditching (water landing) procedure is to have gear up so if they were aiming for the lake they weren't configured for it. Does this game not have allow you to call extra units to the scene? Seems a little unrealistic that they'd let a single fire truck battle a transport-category aircraft fire
Yeah, no ARFF trucks either is even weirder considering they carry foam which is far more effective than water, and their high mobility, and high ground clearance due to incredibly beefy suspension allows them to tackle terrain that a regular fire truck would struggle with.
And they even have snozzles, water/foam cannons with breaching tools to punch a hole through the fuselage that they can then use to inject water and foam through to fight fires that occur inside the fuselage

There was some stores by me that started playing Christmas music the day after Halloween lol. I think it needs to be in December lol.
As for turkey, we have it on Thanksgiving and usually for Christmas. Turkey or ham usually. I guess this year my brother wants to make steak and lobster lol.

Hey Jeff welcome back where I live they I already have the Christmas stuff out
I've a cousin whose job was to put out extremely hot fires such as that. It's a much more dangerous job than you think. If I remember right, he did get hurt, his back tho I'm sure he may've dealt with burns as well.
Just go listen to someone talk about putting out a fire from a jet and you'll get a sense of how hot those flames really get.

Jeff you are not the only one confused on why Christmas music plays the whole month of October. It ruins the holiday for me because it becomes too much for too long. It should start after thanksgiving
