Thanks man! Nice!! Glad you were able to scoop one of these, I actually ended finding another one shortly after this vid for a super low price. It was missing the attachment for the top, which is fine because I want to customize it for the second version of the shield generator ✨🤘😁🤘✨
Awesome pick up of amazing star wars figures and vehicles collection keep collecting and may the force be with you all star wars fans the force is strong with this one 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻awesome videos has always keep collecting toys are way
You got yourself a Fambaa. Only One Kenobi is going to be quite jealous of that find. So many cool items there. As I have been often saying on his Episode 1 videos the Episode 1 line and characters related to it are from a different time but also very good in their own right. I only wish I had been collecting when they were around (When I started it was around the Revenge of the Sith coming out) and I was in a position to go back and get them. Not to mention so many other things. Someday I'd like to be able to collect again. Watching videos like these are my way of feeling a part of things I guess.
Haha cheers! It's certainly one of those bucket list items! Only One recently got a hold of the MTT and that is such an impressive Episode 1 item, I'm hoping to find that one in the future. Lots of decent releases from that era and it's always fun to go back and see what was offered/add a few things to the collection. Glad we can help you feel connected with the hobby and community through these videos! It's never too late to start adding a few things to the collection, and I hope that day is in the near future for you 👌😃
@@ToysAreTheWay Yeah. Again if it were up to me I'd still be collecting but sometimes things have to be sacrificed for other things but again I'd like to be in a place someday where I have space to collect it all again. So many good Vintage Collection figures I'm missing out on so many I wanted as a kid when I was collecting things like the Clone Wars line like Bo-Katan and Maul with the normal robot legs that at that time they never made.
Absolutely, it's tough, but priorities are a must. There's a number of things I will have to catch up on from back in the day that I just did not have the ability to pick up, but toy hunts keep things interesting! And yes, there's some great releases at the present moment!!
Oooh nice!!! Glad you were able to track one down, I picked up another one for super cheap (incomplete) a bit after this video. I am going to customize it at some point to have the 2nd part of the shield. ✨👌😎🤘✨
Haha such a great scene! Thank you! There was a lot of stuff released during the prequel movies, I had a decent amount but also was focusing on other things in my teens. I'm glad there's still opportunities to go back and pick up these items ✨😃✨
Two!! That's awesome!! In the movie some of the Fambaa's have the shield generator included, but some the others have a flashlight looking device attached to their backs that makes and transfers the energy to the round generator. In short it makes me want a second one and to create some sort of custom piece for it's back haha ✨ 👌😃✌️✨
@@ToysAreTheWay hey, that energy cannon was released in TPM toy line, it’s called the Gungan Assault Cannon and it came with a Jar Jar figure. you can get it for cheap, in the film it shoots backward into the drum-shaped shield generator on a second Fambaa. it isn’t entirely accurate, it’s way underscaled, it’s missing the bubble where the operator sits inside of and the tip isn’t meant to be a blue missile but a detailed gun ray knob. it’s pretty cool tho, there’s a brief description of it in one of the visual encyclopedias. sadly it doesn’t click onto the Fambaa like the generator but it rests very well on it. the base is perfectly proportional with the saddle and it actually has a hole underneath it as if it were initially being designed to click into the Fambaa but that idea must’ve been scrapped midway. the downside is it makes you want to get two Fambaas to complete the scene😂 saludos from Puerto Rico
Whoa!! I totally missed that, thanks a bunch for bringing that to my attention! ✨ 👌😃✌️✨ It's a little underscored, but it looks great! I could probably add some sort of bubble to it, matching the on screen look. I imagine this was going to be a second variation of the Fambaa and maybe they had to scrap the idea and release the creature as an exclusive? Regardless this is cool, and you're right, now I sadly want another Fambaa haha Saludos!
Thank you!! ✨✌️😃😃✌️✨ It's an awesome beast, and I actually just found a second one for an insanely low price! Funny you mention that, shortly after I had filmed this video the staff snapped, which is crazy because I barely touched it, but I was able to easily super glue it back together. I guess that plastic is brittle and a pretty widespread issue?
the Fambaa was $70.OO whe it first came out........in 1999!!! That is CRAZY expensive. It looks GREAT but it has practically no playable features. But the ammo wagon is absolutely beautifully designed!!
Haha yeah it's really just a glorified statue! This whole set wasn't too bad of a price considering how things are these days. I've actually managed to pick up another Fambaa since publishing this video for the amazing price of $35! It was missing the figure and sheild generator, but I plan on customizing it. 👌😎✌️
@@ToysAreTheWay it's always a great deal when you get a toy for half the price when it fist came out 24 years ago. I would like your opinion on something if that is okay......I just picked up a brand new mint Naboo starfighter for $70. Given what they go for on ebay, do you think that was a good deal? they usually go for well over $100. Thanks
@@seanahmed9079 absolutely! It was a great find for sure. As for your question which release of the Naboo N1 is it? The original Episode 1 Kenner version or the later release by Hasbro in 2012 for the Phantom Menace 3D line? Both have a high price point now due to ships popularity in the Mandalorian, but the later 2012 release is rare, improved and has a higher price tag for sure. Either way $70 is a great deal considering what they go for now, which is $100 of more 😎
@@ToysAreTheWay That works perfectly cos if you recall in Episode 1 there were two Fambaas for one shield...a Fambaa with an energy emmiter thingy which then connected with the shield generator on a second Fambaa. At least that is how I recall it
Stellar Review. Hasbro made everything for Episode 1 back then. They must have had a big budget for this toy line. I wonder how well this line sold when it was released, I was not following.
Thanks man!! They really did go all out for these movies, I wish they did the same for the Disney Plus stuff. George Lucas definitely saw the potential advertising and appeal that toys and collectibles offered. I think there was a hefty budget, but we also always here that costs were lower back then, and of course these figures were less articulated. But the vehicle selection over the next couple of years was wizard to say the least!!
Great vid man. Looks good 👍🏻 and I've finally got one! 🙏🤯🙃

Episode 1 toys are so good! I had a bunch of them when I was younger. Great video.
The best!! There was just so much product for Episode 1, and that time in general ✨🤘😁🤘✨ Thank you!

I just subscribed so I can keep up with your videos. Love them 🙂✌️

I finally managed to get a Famba last year for Christmas….amazing piece!

Starting up the shield! Very cool pickups, I only have 5 figures from Episode 1 as I had stopped collecting when I was an older teenager.

The alien animals look cool. I don’t think I’ve seen the bigger one in figure form before.
I agree! They are really neat looking! The larger Fambaa was an FAO Schwartz exclusive and I'm not sure if that many were even produced. 😎😎
good ole days right??
