Hi Tomo! Fantastic demo and beautiful truly words about this spectacular amp. I own the very first amp made by Rafael, which is a “Dumble Deluxe Special” kind a circuit. I’m also a lucky owner of some mythical amps such a Fender Super Reverb from 1965, a Marshal Super Bass from 1971, a Fender Dual Professional from 1986 and I can confirm that the best and the most “complete” sounding amp I have is Rafael’s amp. And as you correctly mentioned, playing a combination of amps at the same time makes it an unparalleled playing experience. Yes, just like SRV did and like JM does it nowadays. Listening to your playing and seeing your enthusiasm with Rafael’s amp is thrilling for me. I know exactly how happy Rafael is now when he watches this video as I followed and shared with him his long journey to build those incredible amps since the very beginning. Amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Tomo, what a great sound! Nicely compressed... rich midrange and clear without being too glassy... I have a Bludotone Bludodrive "Ripper voiced" that's in the same smooth multi-harmonic overtone family, albeit slightly more Blackface. Beautiful designs... doubly so with a hint of chorus!

Awesome demo video, Tomo. That amp sounds like no other. I actually also have that same amp, built by Ryan Colgan, TheToneGeek, right here in CT. with Rafael’s help and know how. My SSS 002 is identical to Rafael’s in every way except Rafael built this one you are playing here with all NOS components and tubes. Mine is the same everything but with all new components. I gotta say, Rafael’s NOS version sound a bit sweeter than mine!

nice amp! My vertex SSS can only did like 50% of this amp... very clean and sing like driven-clean! Also this video is not too long, but not long enough
Your fretboard knowledge is so huge. But when I hear/watch you play, I always say to myself you need to loosen up and swing a bit..as if too staccato, too stiff. Get that wrist moving a bit. Oh man..I sound like such a jerk, in my head and I’m saying this with all humility
