Trey, unless you want 25.5 inch scale. I think the Ares can have a 27 inch scale option. I've seen a few kiesel Ares 7 strings be 27 inch scale. Not sure if you knew that.

That is so damn cool. I did the same thing with Fender, only it appears that Kiesel has way more options than did Fender. So thanks a lot Trey, now I gotta go spend a damn hour or two playing around with this virtual guitar builder.

I've messed around with builds from simple to fancy. But what I've settled on for my first Kiesel is an Aries bolt on. Alder body. Satin light blue color. Chrome hardware. White pick ups with chrome poles. Illusionist bridge/beryllium beck. Roasted maple neck. Non roasted flamed maple fretboard. Black staggered off set inlays. Inline gt headstock painted yo match body. White kiesel logo and truss rod cover.
Can't wait for them to release the bass version of their virtual builder!
I’m 10weeks into the current build. I straight copied an Evertune Aries 6 that made my heart skip when I saw it…. Now just another 6-8 weeks and hopefully I get some nice woods! I can’t wait, lol
If you order through the builder, you cannot call and change the order. If you want something that is not on the builder. Write down the stuff you want from the builder and call them. Then you can option 50 the removed tone knob.
Real ones remember the Kisekae builder! I'm really enjoying building guitars with the Kiesel builder just for fun. I love all the colour options, just with there were more pickup options, like P90s.

If anyone looking for alternatives, Balageur also has fantastic builds. Made mine for around $2500 with all the specs and finishes I wanted.
Kiesels are so addictive. Sidebar, it is ALWAYS worth calling them to check on options you would like but don't see. I was able to get a combo of the Solo and Johnny Highland, I got a beautiful top and options not available online with all the electronics of the JH model. Just gave 'em a call and it was no issue.
Excited for you to get an Aries - I love mine, all the bevels make it such a comfy guitar to play.
I got an Aries from their Aries run this year. Worth every dollar, it’s the best playing guitar I’ve ever had and can’t wait for my next one. Thinking 7 string multi scale Vader 🤔

The builder is in Beta but I hope the final version will have a share option so we can share our builds. Jeff and the Kiesel team really did a great job with the builder.

Ive just ordered my first Kiesel as well Aries neck thru purple burst flame top floyd roasted maple flamed neck and birds eye fret board was fun and excited Ive been buying from Carvin since 78 have lots of there guitars but my first Kiesel exciting
I ordered a TL60 awhile back and was basically crossing my fingers that I made the right choices. I lucked out and Jeff picked it up during one of his shop tours.

One of the Best guitars I've owned in 40+ years is a Carvin Custom Shop guitar, just stunning!
I'm a black strat with a maple neck fanboy so best believe my build was a Delos 7 with HSS, roasted maple neck with a black-on-black body/pickguard.
Just ordered my custom Osiris!! Can't wait, I went with mostly natural wood grain with gold hardware. 16 weeks can't come quick enough!
I hope eventually they give the option of using other branded pickups like bare knuckle.

I think he's using it on the thumbnail for the riff hoarding vid from a couple months ago, but it wasn't actually in the vid. I don't know why there wasn't an unboxing or demo or final review.
My last build I did a little over a year ago was a little underwhelming, been jonesing to upgrade to a headless multiscale to replace my DC727 next. This builder is making me have gas!

If I eventually buy a Kiesel, it would be a satin seafoam green Aries, roasted maple neck, white pickups with a floating tremolo.

It's obvious that they use the same builder as 10s guitars used to have. I've seen it used somewhere else, but can't remember at the moment. Cool builder - I'm a web developer, so I'd really like to find out who made it and get more details.

It's not the greatest builder.....but a far cry better than what they used to have....which was nothing.
This was all coded in house. I handled all the graphics myself.

Andy is a goddamn monster player. He and Rick Graham are amazing.
Of the things you did, definitely would have gone with the blue aries. Not a fan of the vanquish or white guitars, but it's not my guitar and it's still pretty kick ass.

I think Jeff should "upgrade" your roasted maple fretboard to some rock maple, call you a liar and be misognyistic about it, otherwise you're not getting the real experience
and also complain that 'everbody has stuff going on in their life" while prancing around a shop disrupting everybody and everything. That completes the Kiesel Buyer Beware Experience.

I've been using the builder everyday. I'm so tempted to sell a couple of guitars to order an aries 7. Probably gonna have to go basic bitch model. Black bolt on 1 piece maple neck, slim profile, reverse inline 7 headstock, either swamp ash or alder body. The one I really want has a badass top and natural finish, but can't afford that one. but then again, for an extra $80 I can have it match my kiesel bass...

The knob elimination is at the bottom of the menu. I just ordered a guitar today and had the volume moved to where the tone knob is and eliminated the volume hole .

It's amazing.
I used the old builder though.
Got the Leia for the small size, as I need it for easy transport.
The Holdsworth pickups were my favorite of that demo, and I couldn't be happier with them.

Not sure if they still have it. But an Option 50 is anything that is not offered on the site. That would fall under not wanting tone knob.

He just didn't want to put in the effort at the time lol just like how he didn't want to offer roasted maple but was more than happy to dye your maple to look roasted for an extra charge

Small thing, you didn't have to completely reconfigure the guitar when you noticed the radius wasn't to your liking
20" radius was only offered on a few different models awhile back, maybe that's changed by now.
WHITE GUITAR is Lord. White 1985 Carvin V220 with Kahler here. Chris says they can't do Kahler. Headless with Trem X-Type is the way. You know...

I totally agree on the tone knob. But, the option I miss is the Evertune. Since getting a Solar with that option, I haven't picked anything else up. In fact, I had to order a second of those so my son could have one, too. Great guitars, and that Evertune is just too nice. But for custom, yeah - that's a steal.
You can get the Evertune, just not on every model. The Andy James comes with it standard

I just designed a spalted maple , trans purple with trans black burst with neon green pickups/dots, x type body shape (headless), 3 piece walnut and Purple Heart neck, 8 strings, to play space death metal and alien jazz. I’m so happy they have this online builder

@@christianhaynes1954 If you think a Kiesel makes you rich then you might not want to look at the other builders. Kiesel charges much less than the competitors.
Can't go wrong with Kiesel. Just recieved my 5th one a few weeks ago. Amazing company.
Has anyone had a problem with their guitar? I’ve heard a lot about the company like bad customer service and sometimes change your specs for some different wood and it scares me to go through with my custom, should I do it anyways
Yes I have heard horror stories as well.......Maybe 2 years ago 2 Kiesel guitars came on a local trading ad. I was skeptical because he had them priced very reasonably. Long story short I own a Vanquish and a Solo6( telecaster). A few times I thought about selling them but I haven't played a guitar that even comes close to the build qualities of these. I love both of mine and they are bad ass. Very well crafted, super low action ,no buzzing and the pickups sound very professional. Why don't you take it upon yourself and give them a call? If they act like arrogant pricks then don't deal with them. I bought mine used but now I know they offer a great guitar. I will be building an Aries in the future. You can't listen to what others say whether it's negative or positive. I say do it but don't get too carried away with some options (like a 600 dollar paint job). Unless you don't care about pricing at all. Cheers. Oh also you better have patience because it can easily take 6 months to get your guitar.

Vader 7-string that looks like the Joe Perry Boneyard Les Paul
I ordered my aries neck thru black limba body and neck with 2 maple stripes.
I know I'm going to get hate for this but Kiesel's still have an odd look to them, I can't put my finger on it, but it's like the designs are like if you had bought an Ibanez, Schecter, ESP, Jackson off of Wish. Like, yeah, they look decent but there is feeling of "something is off" as far as the proportions; reminds me of Agile guitars, only, at least there you know what you are getting, and the prices are far lower.

Yo Trey, if it is possible, could you try to make the guitar in 12:15. I really like how it looks, but am not sure what options i have to choose for the fingerboard and body wood to look the same. If it is possible that would be great

I was so close to ordering last night but a compound radius option makes it non refundable? Not that I have ever returned a guitar because I haven’t , but the manufacturer coming right out and saying sale is final just kind of bugs me and turns me off from clicking “buy now”
