Surprisingly enough, even though Mario Kart 8 is developed by the same developers (Nintendo and Namco Bandai) only here they grouped the various derived characters or characters with different outfits together with the character they are derived from (including Dry Bowser). It makes more sense, in my opinion. I'm also surprised to see how Dry Bowser has troubles being faster than the supposedly slower Luigi already in 100cc. Are you planning to get all the gold cups and to replay this race?
I agree, I think its far better to group them as they are in arcade version as well. It's cleaner and makes more sense like you mentioned. I was very surprised that Luigi at 100cc was able to beat Dry Bowser in the end, considering I was ahead it was a bit of a shock. Yep! My objective for doing the 50cc/100cc/150cc cups are to test out all the characters / karts along with all the items in the game. In the online Vs mode I tend to stick with Super Star, Boo and Dash Propeller. I wanted to see if perhaps there would be a better item to add into the rotation sometimes. After finishing all the cups i'll return to the online game mode primarily. But I do plan to do some time races in the 150cc mode at some later point. Thanks for watching!
