Though this is indeed impressive, this is not the Sam Chien that Okinawns were inspired to learn from. The Sam Chien they saw came from Southern White Crane instead. Enjoy the video. Comparitive karate san chiem ( sanchin ) San zhan - ruclips.net/video/mWh-uhw4C9s/видео.html
That would be like hearing Delta Blues music from the 30s and say ,"I'd like to learn this version of Led Zeppelin" At least give credit where it's due.The Okinawans certainly did by getting the name close to "Sam Chien" from Crane ,even though they missed out on treasures like Hakka Mantis' Sam Bo Jin,(3 step arrow) or Bak Mei's Jek Bo( Straight Step) that focus on cultivating Tun (Swallow),Tu (Spit),Fu (Float) and Chen (Sink).Take it to the next level if your Sam Chien has become a part of you.
I'll do no such thing in the face of such ignorant comments by a dim-witted nincompoop, learn the history of your system before trying to learn a "version ". It's not a version young temenos, it's the core root that your version is copied from and based on
@@katedonlan7143 There's no other way for him to have said it and that's clearly what he meant: I also want to learn this VERSION too and (having lived in China and speaking and reading Chinese) am fully aware it's the great grandaddy of Goju's Sanchin and Tensho. The word "version" fully embraces this possibility as it is still practiced today.

Thanks for the uploader. San chin kata is an advanced dinamic tension Goju ryu karate kata. There is a white crane dynamic kata but this kata i like it more. I dont know for sure Sanchin kata goju ryu japan karate from where it came. Certainly from Wu shu. Is this white crane? What is the name of this excellent kata? The name of this wu shu chinese martial art? It is certainly a dynamic tension kata which are advanced. Masters have a very dangerous strike. Din mac.
Called SanZhan(三战) in Chinese Mandarin, the man who display this 套路(Chinese wu shu call kata as TaoLu)is WuZuQuan(五祖拳 Five ancestor), and one ancestor of it is white crane
He is a really important master of the five ancestors style you can get a better look at the karate nerd in China videos by Jesse Enkamp, I believe he appears in chapter 3 or 4 but not 100% sure.
You demonstrated your complete lack of knowledge of what you're seeing here. Forms and kata like this cultivate tendon strength, lung strength, circulation of blood into the tendons to repair them, cultivate a strong structure and cultivate fa jing. The dynamic tension exercises in these forms is to cultivate tendon strength via Ji lik and cultivate fa jing capabilities. These are exercises your seeing and the key to power & strength in east Asian unarmed fighting arts . This is not a technical demonstration of fighting applications. If you're not sure what you're being shown it's better to just ask than to mock. That way you don't make yourself look badly to those whom do know.
I see grandmaster Higoanna in the background ( up on the right side)
So interesting seeing the original Sanchin form after seeing it in different karate styles like Goju or Kyokushin

@@candidob8683 Don’t think so, honestly. Probably it was the Wuzu version.
Excellent Shaolin boxing, nice to see this still exists
Very nice. Firm root, good fajing, clean taolu with no flowers. Well done.
WOW! I didn't know that existed! Clearly the grandaddy of the Goju katas Sanchin and Tensho.
I see grand master higoanna in the background
Very interesting to see a master with a very high level of awareness
Looking at that guy's breathing and physicality I knew I was looking at someone with a lot of experience.
Uechi Ryu
Good job❤
Looks powerful
Damn, that was impressive!
Notice Higaonna Morio (東恩納 盛男) Sensei of Goju-ryu in the white karate gi watching in the upper right.
Phenomenal. Many thanks for uploading.
Excellent! Would love to learn this version of Sanchin

I too would like to learn this version. Of course, it's the ancestor of the Goju katas Sanchin and Tensho so learning it would be great.

Sifu no Sensei
Very cool Chinese Boxing version of Sanchin
These hand forms look powerful. But with no footwork, you will be kicked and taken down easily. Show how fast you can move. Thank you.

He should go to the doctor with his breathing problems... What a bullshit 😂
