Love your video on this, its anmazing Grinder! Toms Grinder lab channel has convinced me to get it as my second grinder for espresso, very keen to get it.
@WholeLatteLove Just a heads up that you have some images of the VS6 burrs on your website that are probably prototypes and aren’t the actual geometry. Example: For the Hypernova Iridescent Titanium Plated, Image 1 is the actual burr geometry but Image 3 appears to be the geometry of the DLC burrs. To verify what I am saying, count the number of stage 1(breakers) vs stage 2 teeth on each. If you don’t know what I mean just message me and I’ll send you screenshots to clarify.
Oh, a pro tip for removing the burrs. Once you unscrew the hopper and remove the bearings, the hopper has magnets in it that will effortlessly remove the top burrs by just setting it back in place and lifting.
Thank you very much for this video. Two questions please: 1. What about retention and antistatic WITHOUT RDT ? I simply do NOT like water in the grinding chamber! 2. We would like to grind coffee beans for espresso as well as for filters with the same burrs WITHOUT changing the burrs. But mainly for espresso... Dark roasts are preferred and we like sweet and very little acidity. Which burrs can you recommend for the VS6? Possibly also 2 recommendations ... .
Marc I’d like to see a blind taste test of these various flavors depending on the burrs. Ripping off “Vario” name puts me off a little. The chines do that and make junk because they’re copying someone else’s designs. Where is it made?
No. Thank. You. Who the F has time for 8 different burr set ups? No one’s palette is so refined that they could actually taste the difference in brews simply because the burrs of a grinder
The WUG2 has had the swappable burr feature for 4 years now 😅
it's also $1000 more

Great video! Would you choose this or the Eureka W65 if I’m only interested in espresso?
is it ok to set 1600rpm on Conical Burrs ?
Just what I need, more variabilities 😢😢😢
Yeah it is better to keep it simple 😂😅

TSA: “May I have a word with you about that device? Is that dialed in to 1000 yards?”
The Wug2-83A is a grinder that can accept both conical or flat burrs and has been around since about 2021. Sorry Marc :(
Was about to come and say the same thing 😅
What price point does it come in at compared to the varia?
Marc said it was the only grinder that he knew about.....lol not the only one

Love the VS6. Only minor complaint is using the bellows can end up changing the grind setting.

Well, the word Varia is an actual word in Italian meaning “various”. So, not exactly a rip off…
Great ❤

you don't have to buy all 8 lol. Just get 1 flat and 1 conical
also imagine thinking burrs don't make a difference in the brews lol
