I agree with you. While it's definitely hip to excuse bad music videos made by indie artists as them making music and videos for themselves, if that were really the case they wouldn't have signed up with VEVO or any real record label. Because if you actually were just making music to make music, you wouldn't care about exposure or money. And Swim Deep obviously do.
