It's been a lot of fun doing these fashion haul vlogs. I realized I've really been limiting myself with Fear of God, Supreme, etc. Josue Thomas and Gallery Dept. is exactly my vibe, I love the DIY and rebellious nature of this super dope fashion house. I went in for a deeper dive in the vlog and copped some of the more classic denim and paint splattered pieces. Hope you guys enjoy the vlog!

I have a lot of gallery dept pieces and I definitely would rock this style all the way! For sure if I can get my hands on the hoodie. They always sells out.

Gallery department jeans are just standard Levi’s btw… they just take vintage Levi 501 jeans and charge $2000 for them after slapping their tag on it. Not my thing personally as all of their clothes are just from other brands with a 900% mark up but the clothes are cool looking for sure!
Yeahb that’s why it’s called 5001. But def not just slapping his own tag on it. It’s slimmer and purposely distressed. There is def some handcrafting going on. And obviously, he’s a marketing machine to be able to mark up regular Levi’s jeans by 900%. I suppose I’m a sucker in that sense. But I appreciate the art form. It is a different jacket. But it’s pretty much the same without the path on the front. I prefer it without the patch

I love gallery Dept but I think they could definitely use better quality t shirts. I think his hoodies are worth the price, some of the pants due to their influence in fashion, but their hats and t shirts and simple sweat pants / shorts are all extremely cheap garments that are priced insanely high. I own a few pieces but I refuses to buy anything but the hoodies and socks. They have a collab with Vans on the way and I’m hoping Vans checks them about their insane pricing. If it were up to Josue they’d cost $1,000 or more. I think $250 for the vans is fair but I’m buying them regardless of what they cost when they drop 😅
That’s totally fair. If we don’t think it’s worth it, we don’t buy it. I doubt the vans sell at $250. $1000 would be insane. I think it alls in the middle somewhere like $400-500. Didn’t know a GD x Vans collab was even otw. Looking forward to it.
