Nobody wanted them and poultry businesses gave them out for free. My great uncles started their own poultry businesses and this is what they did. I've been frying chicken for 30 years and never knew I was doing it wrong. I mean it tasted good but I could never get my flour to stick like I wanted. Did it this way today adding the cool water to the flour and baking powder, and my chicken was LIT🔥🔥🔥🔥. I changed the seasoning up and didn't add sugar, but it was soooo crispy!!! THANK YOU!

Pay attention to the consistency of her batter. Not very many will cook 4lbs of chicken and you'll have to eyeball the flour & water measurements. I only cooked about 12 pieces of wings. My batter was too thick for the first few pieces that I made and they were very cakey. I added some more water to batter until it became very watery and it was perfect. I also cut down the salt to only 3 TBS as recommended by some of the viewers and it was just enough. This is a damn good recipe! My husband says so too! Thank you so much for sharing!

Ok, so I made these wings and I just could not stop smh. All these years of frying wings and all I had to do was add water and baking powder to the flour!!? What a game changer. So crispy, juicy, and golden. Absolutely delicious. I did leave out the turmeric. The wings never made it to the serving plate because everytime one was done frying, I would devour it. YUM! 😋 TYSM
Wow this was my first time making fried chicken, and this was AMAZING! So crunchy, Before frying i dipped it in flour. Your oil should be 310 to 350 degrees, i did drumsticks, fried for about 20 mins. Best chicken ever.
