Just gotta keep practicing, don't get discouraged if you can't get it at first! I tried focusing on keeping the rhythm consistent with your bass drum, first and foremost, then I added in the rest gradually. Also, I found that having Rock Band with the drum set around really helped me out in that respect. Practice practice practice...
I'm an aspiring drummer as well! I really wish I knew how to play all my fav J-pop/rock songs though! I love Japanese music and the culture altogether! Anyways keep drumming man!

@KawaiiPanda247 It's called ear protections? spec high fidelity earplugs that let you hear, still (doesn't block out sound completely like normal ear plugs) but protects your ears... owo
LOL which is why i said to get a better drum set but if i loved a drum set that much i'd probably be doing what your doing now tuning it up changing the head lol
