Hello, I see you have a chamberlain garage door opener with a purple colored learn button, mine is like that as well. Did you have to “short” the terminals used by your existing wall button like Eufy suggested to figure out if the product was compatible with your door? If so, how did you do it?
I don't recall doing that.
One RUclipsr reviewer was stating there are very bad security issues with it. I wish I could explain more. If I find his video, will let you know.
hi battle. there was a bug that eufy seems to have fixed. we address it in our review, had to do with sensor positioning reporting. from our testing the problem is now gone. if there are other issues please let me know.
Great video. I was wondering how did you get your eufy garage camera to show up on your alexa? It keeps saying it's a "motion sensor" and will not display in my camera 😢

ours tries to connect then fails. so you can open and close the door with Alexa but only watch the door on the eufy app. If I figure out how I'll update this post.
what is interesting is according to eufy, support.eufy.com/s/article/Using-Amazon-Alexa-for-eufySecurity-Devices, the garage cam isn't even supported at all. Since we can open and close the garage door with it, that is only partially true. but based on their page then it doesn't look good.
I'm curious can you still use the buttons to open/close without having the eufy do it?
Yes you can still use your current button. Just think of your Eufy like second button.
can you pan or tilt this camera?
manual tilt. just manually move the camera base for pan. its a pretty wide angle. plus the base mounts magnetically so easy to reposition.
Can you just use this as camera without garage open function?

curious why you say that. would be helpful too others to understand the issues.
btw, one thing I found is if you have a mesh router the best way to pair the control cam to the wifi is at the place you will install it, i.e. the garage. otherwise the control cam might connect to a mesh satellite that is not covering the garage and depending on the mesh router you have means the control cam could have issues connecting once you move the control cam to the garage.
