men this is cool as hell
Thanks! :-)
A lot of good tips in here. Thank you!
You're very welcome! :) Thanks!
I'm just getting into Wwise and it's nice to actually see some work-flow tips, not just "how to". Appreciated! Enjoyed the music as well. Cheers!
Awesome, I'm glad you found my blabber useful haha! And cool you liked the music, too!
Epic Music
Thanks Bamboo!! :)
Wow great job dude, 1 question about the special themed(loked) door) did you make stingers for it or did you let make the door wait till it would open on the measure start. i mean at 21:39 because it was perfect timed.
Hey man! Nice catch! The moment you talk about is actually pure coincidence, the door just happened to line up with the music. :-) Having stingers for the door opening events could totally be done, though! BTW sorry for the late reply, I totally missed this!
Amazing work !! How do you get the names for the different audio events? Any advices ? I am new and i dont know how to tag correctly the events to be triggered by the game .. How i can look for them ? Thank you so much ! Great post !
Thanks David! :) You mean the game events that I talk about at 8:20? You can set those up and name them however you want. But to get them to work outside of Wwise, you need to integrate them in the game by setting up triggers and connecting the triggers to the Wwise events.
Angry Bots was made with the Unity engine. If that's what you want to work with, search for "Wwise Unity integration" and you'll find tutorials on how to set up the triggers. Good luck! ;)
What DAW are you working in for composing?
Owl and Bear Sound Productions I'm working with Cubase! :)
