Looks cool, but it’s quite odd they offer no phone app (at least no mention of one on their website). Also, it’s too bad their tabs aren’t auto-play like Songsterr, Ultimate Guitar & Guitar Pro offer. The ability to have tab that’s synched to & plays along with the music, is it’s far easier to figure out the timing of notes & to follow along (especially for solos & parts of songs that contain lots of notes or tricky timings). If they added this auto play tab feature I think they’d attract a lot of users away from those other apps. The decision becomes “What’s better… having auto play tablature that’s synched to a midi version of a song (Songsterr, Ultimate Guitsr etc), OR jamming along with a live recording that sounds like the actual song but lacks the synched tab feature? It’s a tough decision, but for me I think having the synched tab is more useful than having authentic sound. Why? Because the synched tab allows quicker learning of a song (which is the entire point), & you can still choose which instruments to remove just like you can with Jammin Player. Where I can see Jammin Player being worth the money, is for jamming along to tracks that you’ve already learned. Then again, there are free jam tracks for many popular songs available on RUclips & elsewhere, that have lead guitar removed. It’s just more time consuming having to search for them. If anyone from Jammin Player is reading this, please implement an auto play tab system that syncs the tab to the music like Songsterr does. This is what many guitarists have come to expect from a song learning tool. If you added this feature, focus on quality tabs, & continue to build your song collection (& include some less mainstream artists), I think you could dominate the market.
Hello. Thank you for the comment. I don't know much about Ultimate guitar except for when I go to the website to learn some chords for a tune which is rare. Didn't know about the midi feature. Can imagine the sound but if it helps, Great. Synced is cool too. You're really on to something and make all great points. Thank you 🎸❤
