Is it really about maya and lucas?
It's honestly kind of ridiculous how similar Maya and Sofia and Lucas and Luke are. The girls both love art and find the cowboyness charming. The boys: ride bulls, have a rough an tumble pasts, their names are Lucas and Luke. And then there's the fact that Britt and Scott could EASILY be Sabrina and Peyton at an older age!

Lucaya couldn’t happen because maya liked Josh she just wanted to see if Riley was safe with him, although I loved them together because they’re so cute together no matter all the odds he still wanted her, lucaya is too good to be true which is so sad 😭
@@rinoaosman8875Josh was just a crush. She really had feelings for Lucas but sacrificed it for her friend. Josh and Maya likely wouldn’t last and neither will Riley and Lucas. At least that is how I see it. Would be nice to see a fast forward future for boy meets and girl meets world cast.

Okay did the GMW writers base the Texas episode off this movie?
Same thing going through my mind...after watching both I feel as if the writers completely copied it/based it off of the longest ride as well. Maya and Lucas bickering before he was about to ride the bull, the characters in the movie (sorry I never watched it) bickered when he was about to do something dangerous. Then they both had dates...weird.
I knew I wasn't the only one who thought of Girl Meets World when I saw this movie!! Britt and Sabrina could literally be sisters, and their stories remind me so much of each other!

the way lucas looked at maya, we never saw this way when he looked at riley. and the fact that he initiated 95 percent of the physical contact with maya and only 5 percent when with riley: it's obvious who was meant to be and who wasn't. riley and him were always apart physically, yet with maya he was always super close. and even when lucas and maya sat next to each other on that bench in the gym, there was a sign on the bulletin board behind them titled "goals". if only that would have been true. disney really messed up their endgame.
Okay I've always though this since the first time I saw this movie. It's crazy how similar they are, and the fact that the male characters names are almost the same makes it even more incredible. It's almost like they did this on purpose *sabrina carpenters song* the fact that both girls love art is just mind blowing. I'm glad to see I'm not the only person that thinks this.
