Playing this game on the Genesis, it sort of cemented the notion that if INFOGRAMES is on the logo, you’re in for a bad time. Still love Tintin, glad to see he made it to AGDQ and America in some fashion
For years i thought it was INFORGAMES. The shock and awe at learning that for years i was calling it wrong (Inforgames makes a lot more sense as a name for a game company anyway).
The game looks good and seems to be weel developed for a SNES. If they invested more on level design it could be a great game, but looks like they didn't even test the game. You have to guess where you can jump, sprites can damage you or not depending on... nothing

Seeing Tintin in any other language than French throws me off lol. I am a bilingual Quebecer and was brought up on Astérix et Obélix and Tintin in french. When i watched the 2011 movie and i heard blistering barnacles instead of mille milliard de mille sarbords I was so sad.
mmmmm.... just seeing the title puts the bitterness in my mouth... such an unpleasant experience it was to try again and again to achieve something in this punishment of a game
8:30 playing this game I could NEVER get past that level, because the game *never tells you you can duck*! Kept trying and failing to jump over the trees.
For real though, I totally would have bought this and suffered as a result. Tintin has never been a _big_ deal in the US, but we did get the early-90s animated series and I loved it.

An impossible game as a kid. Never could really complete a single level. Had to use passwords to experience any of the other levels.

Was this game different to the Megadrive version? I could swear that the rope swinging section was really early in the game.
