Crazy accurate. I hadn’t touched my exercise bike in 2 years and I started using it daily about 1 week ago, plus I’m not buying sweets anymore, just fruit, and eating greens daily too. It’s been so long since I took care of myself. Good to be back on this path.
In March I died. I seen a vision of the other side. I had double lung pneumonia, Ebstein barr, and went into septic shock. My blood pressure dropped, organs started into shut down mode. I checked out and remember the moment. It was crazy, I came home 10 days later on oxygen, visiting nurses, 4 inhalers, meds, steroids, inhalers. I could not walk 50 feet without oxygen. I am now on supplements, and doing well. I not only detoxified my body, but my life of toxic people, changed my attitude. Started meditation. I am 62 and beat the odds. I no longer carry baggage that isn't mine. I am taking care of me first, and my grown children's needs belong to them. I have a new perspective on life. I love myself. Very good reading. Have you ever heard of fawning as the fourth type of fear response? Fight, flight, freeze, fawn. I used to fawn (people-please) because my ab*sive father conditioned me to be passive and submissive to him in order to avoid conflict and also to receive his conditional love. I not only used to over-extend myself to others but I subconsciously considered them and their problems as my responsibility. Since realizing this, I’ve practiced boundaries and saying no when I don’t actually want to do something (without explaining myself). It’s been life changing. Not sure if you can resonate with any of that but I suspect a lot of Gemini’s can. ❤

I have to laugh my fave sweet is also ice cream, but here’s the problem I’m a diabetic, so it tastes good when I eat it, but the repercussions outweigh the pleasures of eating it. I also have a broken youth that needs fixing. I agree sometimes we have to distance ourselves from some people to feel well ourselves.
