I believe the arrangement for orchestra really added something to the song, not particularly in the middle section but the closing section that originally is with just the guitar and Damiano's voice here is replaced by the strings accompanying Damiano's voice and giving that soulful delicate flavour.... btw we all know strings are great on rock music, talking about your fav band think what they did with "nothing else matter"...
Orchestra makes it insanely powerful. I didn't supose that it can be even more powerful but now it is. Such a great song, such an outstanding performance. Pure love and emotions.
It was an amazing performance. They are all very good and tight, but the emotional connection is always with the singer, since he is the one who sings directly to us. Damiano is pure emotion, always has and always will be. He is cheeky, fun, powerfull, but he has such an emotional power that just gets to you. He cried because they came back where it all really started, their home country, their familes were there and they felt loved and appreciated. It was amazing

Damiano was already starting crying towards the end of the song. He particularly felt his interpretation on this occasion and the last sorrowful lines of the song meant much to him... He was 100% sincere. In my opinion this has something to do with the fact that they were on the same stage where everything had begun.... and he gave everything he had with his band mates. But most of it started from the inside of him rather than the outside environment. It has just been magic in its quintessence....

I think Damiano said that Coraline is his favorite song to perform, and I could be wrong but it was the first time performing it on Italian TV. He put his heart and soul into his performance and the fact that they were on the same stage as a year ago, with an audience, just made it that more special. They are our boys, and yesterday they returned home, from where they started their incredible journey last year. An entire theater, the most important Italian theater for music, empty last year, and this year full of people standing up cheering them. And singing their special song, so deep and poignant. I'm very happy that you made a review on this performance. I watched it yesterday live, I was really looking forward to seeing them perform Coraline and I wasn't disappointed. You could see Damiano was very emotional from the very beginning, completely overwhelmed by the lyrics he was singing and the atmosphere in the theater. I cried with Damiano, the lyrics of Coraline echoing the story of a very dear friend who was abused when he was a little boy and as a teenager, growing up in a dysfunctional family. Yesterday he was telling me that he was really struggling with carrying on with his life. I managed to soothe him but it's emotionally and mentally exhausting. As for Måneskin's performance, it was spectacular and the orchestra, which is in fact the orchestra of the Italian national TV channel RAI, always adds value to their performances.

We all felt like you did and I think Damiano felt all the love which made him share a message on his personal account just now where he admits the song was inspired by his girlfriend- Giorgia. I think many knew it before since he said he shared it with the person it was about and it was appreciated and she also has a Coraline tattoo, but it feels nice to see him (and her) comfortable enough to be vulnerable with us and reveal the story to everyone.

It's dedicated to his girlfriend, Giorgia Soleri, that went throgh a horrible 11 years of unrecognized pain, unrecognized by the parents, doctor, everyone. But the reality is that she wa suffering all 11 years of 4 incredible painful disease inside her intimate parts and she's the inspiration for this song. If you know Giorgias' story you will understand the meaning of the song. She is warrior, she works, she is dedicated to the cause because these illness are still not known by the majority of people and cause a lot of pain and even death. You hit the nail on head comparing this to Beggin and Mammamia. Both are good songs, done well, but this is different level. It frustrates the hell out of me that people don't know this side of them and think they are the hot sexy italian tik tok band! I don't understand why their management aren't fighting to get this performance on you tube and promoting the f out of it!!! It was absolutely incredible and they looked like superstars on that stage. This is what Maneskin can do and this is what they need to show more of if they are going to reach the level of global recognition they deserve.

I think I've hold my breath for a while near the end watching this live last night. Maestro Melozzi did a great job again and what can we say about these kids, so talented and passionate. It's dedicated to his girlfriend, Giorgia Soleri, that went throgh a horrible 11 years of unrecognized pain, unrecognized by the parents, doctor, everyone. But the reality is that she wa suffering all 11 years of 4 incredible painful disease inside her intimate parts and she's the inspiration for this song. If you know Giorgias' story you will understand the meaning of the song. She is warrior, she works, she is dedicated to the cause because these illness are still not known by the majority of people and cause a lot of pain and even death. You hit the nail on head comparing this to Beggin and Mammamia. Both are good songs, done well, but this is different level. It frustrates the hell out of me that people don't know this side of them and think they are the hot sexy italian tik tok band! I don't understand why their management aren't fighting to get this performance on you tube and promoting the f out of it!!! It was absolutely incredible and they looked like superstars on that stage. This is what Maneskin can do and this is what they need to show more of if they are going to reach the level of global recognition they deserve.
