@@pointless_knowledge that really just sounds like semantics, to be honest. Direct mind-to-mind communication alone is telepathy in my book, even if the signal doesn’t last over a billion miles.

You're right, teasing later "reveals" tends to work, I'm actually experimenting a bit with it because I wouldn't want to go overboard with it.
I don't want to take huge gambles because working on a video for 3-4 weeks to have it stop at 20 views is a huge motivation killer.

Luckily we are a looong way from getting there.
There hasn't been any progress in actively reading someone's mind against their will. The experiment subjects needed to focus intensely on what they were seeing/thinking in order to get their message across.
But yeah, if we get there it's going to be real fucking scary.

This is earth-shatteringly important. If this ever becomes practical and capable of sharing conceptual information, we'll suddenly have the capacity to either instantly fall apart or propel ourselves into something very advanced, very utopic, and very long-lasting.
We'll see what happens, I suppose.
Imagine if it was people sharing thoughts freely, rather than corporations spying on thoughts. This has the capacity to solve most of our modern problems, including misinformation. It'd take a cultural shift for some of us, sure, but it's more than worth it.
We somehow have to keep ourselves safe from big malicious conglomerates like corporations and governments, but we also need to not regulate ourselves into a rut, for the sake of the future. It's an incredibly risky balancing act, but we have both everything to gain and everything to lose.
Whatever it is you think we should do, one thing's for sure: the coming decades will be more pivotal for us than anyone could have imagined.

I usually dont write comments, but I felt some support here is required. The video is great in many ways and I understand deeply how much effort youve put in it.
That being said, I would recommed working a little more on pacing. Its hard to put a finger on whats wrong, but the video, at least for me, fails to grab attention and dont help me walk with you on the content youre presenting.

Okay bro lets make you rich... But seriously what do you think is the biggest issue / current challenge to actually implement a telepathy device?
I'm not qualified enough to really give a valid opinion on it, but from my understanding as a dumbass with a computer science degree, the current limitation seems to be that you need a lot of data to accurately read someone's intentions, or you need to be in a super specific environment which falls apart at the smallest possible change.
So yeah, making the current approaches work with less information and in a more chaotic environment definitely seems to be one of the challenges ahead!
