- SOOOO This vid my friends is Not for the Faint of heart haaaaaa.... This was during the Recording of album of the great Pianist RANDY WALDMAN... the Grammy winning record called SUPERHEROES... really appropriate name for this vid... HAAAAAAA
This are two of the most influential drummers in HISTORY... THE AMAZING STEVE GADD AND THE INCREDIBLE VINNIE COLAIUTA.
This is the rare time they record together... yes two drummers at the same time.. and I had the HONOR to be Playing with them... on the same session...I have worked with them a lot... and they are PRETTY MUCH Family to me... but... man this two SUPERHEROES Together.. WOW... FIREEEEEE....
SOOOO ENJOY... this process. from the Reading to the FINAL TAKE... ITS LIKE 15 MINS.. BUT WORTH IT..... this is a drummers treasure... haaaaaaa

Both sound so perfect and laser-precise, yet each is so unique. Gadd has that irresistibly tasteful and clever funky vibe and danceful groove, whereas Vinnie has that divine dynamics and jaw-dropping elegant virtuosity. I can't pick a favorite between these two, they're the epitome of modern drumming. Awesome document, thanks for sharing, Carlitos.

I prefer gad becose vinnie is to much complexe for my brain , i can t follow his game.
