I like that she’s always willing to fix something if you inform her to do it over. Some artists get frustrated because multiple takes need to be done to ensure great quality. Good job guys 💪🏾

That’s the secret I’m learning as an artist. It truly is talent. Like these vocalists we think are using all these plugins are but they don’t help as much as we think. Autotune can change pitch but not the voice

This was very helpful to see an actual workflow. I was interested to see how much you did on the spot. Since I record myself, all of that cutting and reorganization to tracks and clips you did so quickly takes me much longer because I have to do it all myself. I also see what everyone talks about when the speak of gaining fluency with you DAW. Great video!

Nice info, but that song is FIRE. That beat is great, and the style of the vocal is perfect. Gives me a Kelis reminder, but UPDATED.

Great real world demonstration of the actual workflow, attitude and relations.
Would be great to see examples in another genres and stacking background vocals.
Also vocalists preparation and warmup before the session might be great addition to this topic.

That beat is tuff! I like it a lot. Normally when I'm recording like this in the open I always use on the input a soft compressor and a gate just to get some of the background and headphone noise out. Do you agree?

What mouse do you use? I need a good silent click mouse for this kind of tracking. I sometimes hear the clicks in my recordings.
For clarification, the clicking I hear is not a buffer or audio drop out issue, it's from the mouse.
