Old Man is so underrated!! It's slower for the most part, but so much passion behind those extended cries and shrieks, man!!! I love how it picks up speed, too in a grand finale of sorts!!! I'd love to jump into a moshpit for both of these songs. It's funny because I used to love Little Dreamer more when I was younger and would often skip Old Man, but now I'm really connecting with Old Man and it's one of my favorite tracks

Classic Ensiferum. Nothing in this style has since come close to this mastery.

Just come back from listening to their last album and I needed to listen to these back because of it! 🍻
Do you think between Part III and their new singer they were trying to bring back some of the old vibes from the Jari era?
      I think they did.
      Cheers from France! 🍻

Not to mention most folktales collected for Kalevala were actually from WESTERN FINLAND. And ofc EVERY REAL KARELIAN IS FINNISH. Your comment might be the most ignorant I've ever seen.

Well according to the Kalevala, he stepped down so that Jesus Christ could take the throne.

@@LordBaldur The Kalevala also invents a new goddes for him to be descended from. It is very much in the vein of some of the records of Norse mythology, such as Snorri Sturlusson's Prose Edda, which reduced the roles of the god's to make them more compatable with christianity. The Kalevala was born out of a desire to reconcile traditional mythology with the new christian mythology most Finns had been converted to.
