I'm getting one soon in the dark night colour with the rosewood board. I like the neck shape and the idea of getting neck and bridge or all three pickups with the push push knob. Liked your demo, thanks for sharing :)
Shoppers should be aware that the push-push function delivers some very weak tones. I'm thinking that adding that mod at the same time as moving to the V-mod2 pickups was a mistake. The bridge pickup is soo much more powerful than the neck pickup that the bridge unit completely overpowers the neck unit when they are both in play. Other than that, the Pro2 does have a lot going for it, both in tone and versatility. And I'm happy with the five switch positions that were already available.

With the current Fender price drop I bought one and love it. Sunburst with a maple fingerboard.
Hard to beat a good strat!! Fender did a great job with the new American standard.

The finger board is rosewood, not palfero as you say.
