I liked the neck and middle position of the American Pro II better but preferred the bridge position of the Affinity. There is definitely a difference but not 7 times the price difference, in my opinion.

I got one last month, I think it will sound better with Martin strings

all these effects u made was just the amp itself? without a single pedal on? sorry im new to electric guitars, i do acoustic tho. just bought this fender champ40, and im using a strat wanting it to sound like metal or humbucker. would this amp do the job? thanks in advance! new subs here

Love it so much I bought two: one with block inlays to play, and an inlaid-signature model that resides in its hermitically-sealed case and original box so my kids can cash in when I'm in the urn on the mantle.

A customer bying one of these instruments can,t be paying any more for paint quality if they bought a U.S. guitar because the paint on a Squire is second to none

bought this model, after demoing it in the shop with no bias beforehand. I did not know anything about it. was looking to extend my gear with a model that was not so heavy(weight) to play as my gibson les paul studio 1994 which always gives me back pain. I was looking in the direction of the player 2 series so i inquired in the store about it. But shop also gave me this model to test. Although i was not a fan of the nebula noir paint style at first. the playability of this silky smooth experience was second to none. Compared it with the player 2 models and it came close, but i have to say, i love playing this guitar. And the nebula noir paint grew on me. Love this unique look now. great vid.

I will never be good enough to care about the difference, as a novice who doesn't play gigs etc, I couldn't justify the quadruple price. The Squires are just fine.

True.... a good laminate is louder and takes more time to build. However, this isn't "plywood" these are 2 piece laminate with the grain going in the same direction and usually 2 different pieces of wood , even 2 different species altogether... but bonded with a hard resin ... If you have a hard hard tonewood like ,for say , purple heart, then you can just laminate the sides... The biggest trick is sawing the wood thin enough and leaving enough wood to run through your drum sander to get the desired thickness... also knowing what thickness you actually need for bending... you may know how Sapele OR black limba bend... but it doesn't mean you're going to know Sapele AND black limba are going to bend.. or which resin is going to allow you to bend it without splitting the wood or cracking the resin between the layers... Now you get the idea of why it's more expensive.. It ain't plywood..😊

How loud is it playing unplugged acoustically without the mics? I've got one on hold but I'm now concerned that it will wakeup/disturb my 15-month old during naps and after we put her to bed at 8pm. Since I'm relatively new to guitar play it's important for me to be able to quietly practice at home and while she naps and is in bed sleeping for me would be the ideal times to do so. Would the Taylor T5 Foam Insert set be enough to dampen the acoustic sounds without disturbing other people in our small 1,600 sqft bungalow house? Anyone have suggestions as to what can be done to dampen the natural acoustic sound for at home quiet practice, aside from just purchasing a solid body guitar for home practice use?

I really love this guitar, I went in to buy the parlor size but they only had the sunburst one, they had this one in the frontier stain and I'm glad I made the right decision. Perfect in-between size

This is a really spectacular guitar of seriously high quality and could perhaps become a collector vintage guitar down the road in the future. The push-push knob feature is also a very nice addition that allows for more tone experimentation, while the roasted maple neck and ash body really warms the sound of this guitar. The shape of the neck is also probably among the best ever designed, and if there was a Fender Strat made that felt like driving a smooth, luxury Cadillac, this would be the one.

What strings are those? Was that a whole-step bend on the intro?

Thanks. If I add a new track or copy a new audio file into my song, the input for the new track is always my SPL hardware or for mono input 1. How can I set it up that if I do this "no input" is the default?
