My wisteria needs a trim, some flowers, all 4 have bloomed, it's mid May. do I wait for July/August to prune?? Wild whips are headed out in all directions. Should I trim back now?? Jumamji is here
I cut mine to about 40 inches and used a fence post to secure it to. I just removed the fence post beginning of year 3 they look awesome but no blooms yet
Please please please HELP me!! I have a baby wisteria about 4 ft tall less than my pinky thick. I've had it 2yrs now and want to train it into a tree. How do I do this. I've searched the internet over but can not find a video to show me how on such a small plant. Please help.
I rec'd a wisteria as a gift that I feel I have the perfect place to plant it, but worry the roots may damage a stone wall we've created that terraces our property down a slope. How much room should I give for root space?
I planted mine in an open area with nothing to climb on and the wisteria naturally grew into tree shape. I just made sure to prune the bottom branches near the ground off because if they touch the ground, they’ll make roots and make another plant. I didn’t use any support.
You can't purchase plants like these. You have to buy them as a young vine and train them to grow vertically like a tree using stakes and supports. Once they get strong enough you can remove the supports so they look like a freestanding tree.

Hi Ive planted some whysteria seeds, and they told me it lasts 10 years to flower, is that true? Is there any way I can make them flower faster?
I will try this, I have a plant that is over 20 years old, had been transplanted 10 years ago and hasn't bloomed since, but grows like crazy....
idk if youll see this but any updates on the plant after 9 years?
@@jumas__room Never has bloomed.... Guess I can try it again!

@@LeviPageTVshould you cut the bottom shoots when it’s still a young plant?
Hi! I love your videos! Can you please tell me where you can purchase large wisteria trees like yours? Thanks in advance!

Can the mulch reach the roots with the fabric?
